Question about HP Mini 1000 Netbook

Netbook has been installing update 17 of 30 for 16 hours. States: do not power off or unplug your machine. Please advise.

The registry has a glitch in it. Turn off and reboot and start over with the down loads
It is the only way

    I am having the same problem with my HP netbook. It has been downloading Update 21 of 36 for almost 24 hours. I have tried to turn off the power and when I turn the power back on, the screen is still there, with the same message. I have even tried taking the battery out to make sure it would turn off, but when I put it back in and turned on the computer, the same screen is still there. What can I do????

    the hard drive is locked up so no help of any can get to to go again.

    if you did not try pressing all 3 keys at the same time (alt ctrl del ) do so now on this computer and see if a new window appears

I understand you are receiving an E58 code on your Frigidaire Affinity washer, model# ATF8000FE. The E58 states that it is a high current on the motor phase. This could possibly be a false code, as well. I suggest resetting your appliance, by either unplugging it or shutting the power off at the circuit breaker, for 3-5 minutes. Windows 7 installing updates 1 of 2 1 stopped at 14 but hour glass is still spinning


Turn it off and let it try the updates again. It will pick up the updates the next time.

Stuck on installing updates


DO THIS FIRST - Perform a hard resetIf a PC suddenly fails to boot properly, you should perform a hard reset as the first action. Performing the hard reset will correct many problems. If the computer still does not start properly, select your symptom from the list below to guide you to the recommended corrective actions.
  1. Disconnect all peripheral devices and remove all USB devices and SD media cards. You want to test the computer not the accessories!
  2. Disconnect the AC power adapter, remove the battery, and then press and hold the power button for at least 15 seconds to drain all residual power and restore default startup settings.
  3. Reconnect the AC power adapter (but do not insert the battery), Press the Power button, Look for glowing LEDs near caps lock and num lock keys, and Listen for sounds of a fan or other moving parts turning.

device manager again and then uninstall it/then reinstall after that?restart computer,if still the same thing?update the driver and restart computer.
if still the same thing?i suggest go to the nearest Acer shop to have it checked.

Hello.

The most common reasons are the battery, power adapter/cord and power jack.

If you move/wiggle the power adapter at the point where it connects to the laptop, and the power goes off and on, the power jack is the problem.

The power jack is inside the laptop and either needs soldering or replacement.

If no change, the power adapter is probably faulty and needs replacement.

Also, power off and remove the battery. If the laptop powers on with just the adapter connected, your battery is faulty.

In any case, since your netbook is still under warranty, I strongly advise you to return it where you purchased, for a repair or replacement. A two-month old network should not have power problems.

Hi Good day!!! Sir/mam you will need to wait till it finish, because it is a Microsoft update.it is required for your pc to update cause your using a OEM Operating system (Original OS).

Cannot connect to the router


Right click the network icon in the system tray. Click "repair."

If that doesn't work.Power off netbook, router, modem...
Turn on router. Then Modem. Then netbook in that order waiting 1 minute interval between each.

Everything should be functioning ok.
