Before the camera will take pictures, it's necessary that the 'commutateur' on the card operates a switch in the camera, which it should do if it's in the 'unlock' position. If you've already checked that, it must mean that the 'commutateur' isn't quite thick enough to operate it properly, or that the switch in the camera is broken, or that the tiny lever has broken off when you put a card in. I would definitely try a different card (of a different brand (marque)) to see if small differences in thickness are the problem.
