Dishes are not cleaned on the top level, the bottom level is OK, seem like the spray arm is not revolving

top spray arm will be blocked with sediment/food deposits etc remove clean thoroughly with hot soap water and shake/tap it on side of sink to dislodge deposits if the outermost holes are blocked the arm will not turn and you will get poor wash results.

Intermittently Operating With Little or No Water

Most likely the water level detector (the sensor that tells the dishwasher to stop taking more water) is failing. It is giving early signals which confuses the dishwasher and it turns water off. Most of the time these problems are linked to grime collecting in the inside of dishwasher.

You can clean it by using a dishwasher cleaning powder. Follow instructions on satchet. YOu may have to manually fill the dishwasher before starting it. If this cleaning does not fix it, then you may have to call the technician. You may be under warranty on this (hopefully)

Later LG model, I don't remember # upper arm doesn't spray/rotate, just trickles water

The Lg D/washers normally have a fascility that allows one to choose either the upper arm or the bottom arm or both to run as you choose. there is an actuator that can stick which would cause this problem. Otherwise simply, your rotor needs a good clean.

Hello davidweavers, Does the motor run during the wash cycle? If yes the flow control valves have a problem. The valve to direct flow to the arms is not activing. #1 Close the water input, disconnect the AC power, and open the housing to aquire access to the internal water routing. Check the wiring connections to all componets by reseating the plugs. Physicaly check all valves by moving the arms, if one will not or is very hard to move this could be the problem. Remove the valve & soak in a 50/50 mix of vinegar over night. Test movement. If bad contact Mgfr. for replacement. #2 All valves move freely and all wiring connections check good you have an electrical control problem. Contact the Mgfr. for a control box replacement. When & if you contact Mgfr have the model & serial#s handy. #3 Please E-mail yours truly of results.

Bosch Dishwasher low water problem

The water level is actuated by pressure to the level switch.this is transferred by a plastic hose from the sump in dishwasher up to the level switch. the hose could hav excess fluid in it or be partially blocked. Try removing and emptying this hose of any fluid or gunk, Note when refitting it pays to cut snall amount off both ends of hose by about 3/8's of an inch so it fits back on tightly. If you dont do this it might leak and cause dishwasher to overfill. If this doesn't work the next step is to try and replace level switch.

Leaky door

o.k. i think i can help you.look inside and remove the will see the heater and to the left of it are 2 sensors, clean them with a light grit sandpaper or emory cloth also there are 2 more that are on the right side back wall of the tank clean as well.unscrew the top and bottom wash arms with a pair of channelocks or pliers.inspect the seams of the wash arms and look for cracks or seperation.if they are they need to be replaced (this can cause the problem 50% of the time).those sensors tell the control board where the water level is at all times,if those sensors are dirty or malfunctioning the dishwasher will do all kinds of you delime the unit?if not get clr (calcium lime rust) can buy at home depot, lowes, supermarkets, turn the dishwasher on,let fill and pour a cup of clr then run a cycle.deliming the unit keeps the sensors and tank could be a couple other things but try these first and let me know.
