Then, it should be covered both by the store's own guarantee (7 days? 1 month?) and by the (one-year?) manufacturer's warranty.

Exercise the warranty, and get it replaced.

Goodluck!

I just bought these LS11. 2 speakers about a week ago. My HDMI output is plugged into my tv and was the source of sound for a while. Now that Im trying to plug these in, I can't get sound to come on for...

I'm confused - 1. I know that a speaker does not need drivers to operate - they just need an amplified audio signal to produce sound. 2. An HDMI output has a digital video and audio signal to transfer from a source like a computer or DVD player to a destination, like a TV set or an AV system. You might have a problem with your sound card in your computer. I think you're missing a AV component system in your set-up - like a physical receiver or AV hardware.

Having trouble with the colors on my WIi, everything seems yellow and there is no red anywhere

I just wanted to add that I recently bought a WII and I have the exact same problem. I have a Samsung HD TV and I bought the additional HD cable that has the multiple jacks (i.e. green, blue etc.) I will post if I find a specific answer to the probem.

it sound like you did the right thing . The problem is the mac output for sound is bad or the TV input sound is bad.
try input a mp3 radio to the TV verify TV is working.
put an earphone to the mac to verify the mac out sound is working .
if both are working just tool around a little and you will get it. good luck

RCA console TV, bought in 1990, screen turning green sometimes

Anytime you get labor involved, it is not going to be cheap. Since it works sometimes you may have a intermittent condition caused by bad connection, heat buildup, etc. A bad solder joint could also be responsible. Think you can a new replacement for less than a repair. Your call.

The reason for this is that the HDMI out from the Amp is out only, and does not feed back anything from your TV etc.You will have to connect via other means such as Digital out from Tv to the Amp

How to download songs

If you have a standard usb plug-in then you should be able to drag and paste songs you already have. If you mean actually downloading songs then there is great software like "youtube to mp3" converters that can turn youtube movies or videos into mp3's that function on mp3 players or computer media players. Look on google for "youtube to mp3 converter" for the download file. Hope this helped.
