Use your USB patch cord and download everything to a computer file, plug the other into the computer and upload the file to it.All computers know is garbage in and garbage out. They don't know what it is,just that it's being told to do something. And it does it.
You can do it via following steps.1.Update iTunes to the latest version if you have not updated recently. To find out if you need to update, launch iTunes and click "File" followed by "Check for updates." If you are on a Mac, click "iTunes" followed by "Check for updates." If you do not have the latest version installed, a dialog box will appear asking you if you want to download the latest version. Click the "Download iTunes" button. 2.Connect your iPhone to your computer using the USB cable that came with your iPhone. iTunes will automatically recognize your iPhone and an icon will appear in the left-hand column of iTunes. 3.Click the iPhone icon and the "Summary" pane will appear. 4.Click the "Contacts" tab located across the top of iTunes. 5.Click the check box next to the "Sync contacts with" field. 6.Click the drop-down menu in the "Sync contacts with" field and select a program to sync your contacts with. If you are on a Windows machine, you can choose from four options: Yahoo! address book, Windows address book, Google contacts, or Outlook. If you are on a Mac, your contacts will be synced with the Address Book utility. 7.Click the "Sync" button and all of the contacts on your iPhone will be saved to your computer's address book. Included in every contact will be the contact's phone number. Subsequent syncing will add any new contacts you have entered manually on your iPhone. Hope it can help you.
hello, ensure you are not clicking on the key wrongly,i would advice you put the phone off and on back to see if the problem stops.if it doesn't i would also advice you ensure you close any application you are not making use of.it could also be as a result of accumulated opening of applications.
if that does not stop the problem,i would suggest you get the phone flashed by a mobile phone authorized repair engineer around you.
wish you good luck,
Speaking of syncing iPhone with Outlook, you can take advantage of iTunes to sync contacts.
Connect iPhone to computer with USB cable, and launch iTunes.
Click iPhone icon, and choose Info the Summary Panel in left sidebar.
Check Sync Contacts with, and choose in the drop-down menu.
Click Apply at the right bottom to start syncing iPhone contacts with Outlook.
When the sync is finished, the contacts will show up in the Outlook contacts. Besides syncing contacts, you can also sync iPhone calendars and mails to outlook as well. But if you have noticed, the sync of iTunes is an annoying issue among iPhone users as during the sync of iTunes, the application may erase the available files in their iPhone. http://www.leawo.org/tutorial/how-to-sync-iphone-with-outlook.html
Hello can you tell me if your iPhone is a 2G or 3G and are you plugging it into a USB 2.0 port? if it's a 1.0 usb port that could be your problem. the 3G doesn;t like anything but 2.0 usb and won't work. the 2G is a little more forgiving. also, is your phone pwn'd / unlocked you may need to restore your iPhone and reunlock it. I can help with that also. if you wanna hook up on msn or yahoo let me know i will walk ya through it
Once your iPhone is connected to your PC and iTunes is loaded you can right click on your iPhone and select exactly what you want to have sync'd.
1. Under the Info tab you will find Contacts.
2. Tick the "Sync contacts with :" and select Outlook from the list.
3. Click "All contacts"
If you wish to put all of your iPhone created contacts into a different group in Outlook you can select the group there also and tick the relevant box.
iTunes always displays a warning about over writing data but that is not relevant to Contacts. Data is always merged.
I hope this solves your problem.
When you connect your iPhone to the PC that you always sync with, Go to Info tab, Check the box Sync Contacts with: and select Outlook. Then make sure that you check the box Put new contacts created on this phone into the group: and select a subfolder in your main contacts folder.
This way, all the contacts from your iPhone will be saved into another folder in your main contacts folder of your Outlook PST.
