THE TRICK TO SWITCHING OVER THE OUTLET FOR THE PUMPED AIR IS BACK PRESSURE. IF WHAT YOU ARE FILLING IS COMPLETELY FLAT, BLOW INTO THE FITTING YOU WANT TO USE AND IT WILL SWITCH OVER.

It will lite and run for about 30 seconds and go off. If I take the top off it will lite and keep on running. but if i put the top back on it will go off.

Check the fuel nozzle for a partial blockage. I use torch tip cleaners to make sure they are clear. Don't use one that will make the hole bigger, you want one slightly smaller than the hole. Also check the fuel filter. Check both air filters also. After that you need to check the air pressure going to the fuel nozzle. Install an air pressure guage in the port with the plug that doesn't have a small hole in the center in the filter cover behind the motor. The plug that has a small hole is the one you use to adjust the air pressure. The pressure you need will be listed on the label of the heater.

I have a 1982 cm 450 and it will start but when I

You need to remove and clean the carbureators. Pay close attention to the jets, use a single bristle out of a wire brush to clean the hole in the jets. Just clean the crud out, DO NOT make the hole any bigger. After getting things cleaned up reassemble and reinstall the carbs.

When shotting the gun the nails dont go in all the way. ive tryed raising the air pressure and adjust that littlet still doesnt shoot all the way. thing on the gun but still doesnt work

you can try to use connections with bigger holes and a hose of bigger diameter, so you have more air at the gun en less pressuredrop over the hose and connections. try first to fit the gun direct to the compressor and test if it is better.

Puck doesn't glide well

the problem that you are facing now is that you have made the holes to big for the fan to be able to distribut the air evenly so in turn you will need to get a bigger fan to compinsate for the larger holes, one of the things that we did to get the puck to slide alot better was to apply car polish to the table and the puck, let it dry then shine it like you would to your own car, i hope this helps

IR 210g - using thicker paint

i dont have so much as a solution as a couple of things you can try to figure out whats going wrong.

make sure your compressor can handle 10.5 CFM @ 50psi
hook up the gun and dry spray it to check for blockages in the air supply
if the air comes through strong and constant, fill the paint hopper with water and spray until empty
if the water comes through constant, add half of the hopper with paint thinned with penetrol or floetrol
if the paint is coming out weak or spotty, make sure the vent cap is open on the paint hopper
if the cap on the hopper doesnt have a vent, try spraying with the cap off or cracked a bit.
if that doesnt work take off the hopper and check the filter for blockages.

i suggest straining all your paint before pouring it into the hopper
