Hi there,

Well the error E9 indicates that there is some problem in the pressure sensor of your washing machine, and you need to change them but before changing it you can check the supply lines and filters many time they blocked and show error E9. Further you can check the sensor by pulling the hose attached to the bottom part of the tub and blow on it and test the terminals of the sensor if it will close or open. You can please follow the below link to get a pressure sensor -

Our AW-1170S Toshiba washing machine ia showing error code E9-5 error message . How can I fix it.

Pam: This code relates to WATER PRESSURE , could be a (1) Krink hose, (2) plugged strainer where water enters the machine ( doing it's job) or (3) a sensor that malfunctioning (thinking you have NO water pressure. These sensor prevent the machine from operating dry, flooded etc, some times they OVER protects. So check the first 3 items above. you may have IN HOME service on it.

My NEC NW 652 washing machine is showing an E9 fault. When I hit the power button the E9 message appears?

Sounds like the water level pressure sensor is not working. The code (E9) means the switch is open.

You'll need to replace the pressure switch. Check the manual for the repair procedures.

I have an Electrolux Aqualux EW1200 i washing machine which is around 6 years old. The problem is that the drum no longer turns during the wash cycle. Instead it makes a slight grinding and banging...

6 years old - probably the wash tub bearings gone. Does the wash tub lift up and down from the front? sure sign bearings have gone. Would you drive a car at 70mph if the wheels were loose and floppy?
Not really a viable repair due to cost, and throwing good money after bad sort of situation, especially if your machine has a sealed wash tub which doesn't come apart.(welded Tub).
Cost of parts in this case would equal cost of new machine. Also, suspension, motor and heater will all be worn too. That's about the life span of machines these days I'm afraid!

My washer is showing error 20 and will not spin the water out.

Either drain is clogged or pump is jammed or faulty.
Clear drain and screen. Check pump for jams. Make sure there is power going to pump with a voltmeter.
If you have any other questions, feel free to ask.

NEC NW 892 Errror E9

This error is related to the pressure sensor

check connections or replce pressure sensor

Check at the water source end of the hose and make sure the filter is not occluded. Both hot and cold. more likely the cold side as the hot water may disolve the particles more easily.

If all else seems good you will have to replace the sensor
