Check that the bag has actually been installed properly.  If the plastic door lock has been broken off you may need to order a new door / bin cover from Hoover themselves. The only other way that the bag is popping off is because something may be clogged in the main dirt channel feeder leading to the bag.

Sounds to me like the bag door is broken. You should contact Hoover by calling their customer services to order a new door - inflation on the bag is normal and it sounds like the bag door connectors at the bottom - or however they fit into the front of the vacuum - have broken off.

I have a Hoover Nano Cyclonic that doesn't use bags. My daughter took the entire bottom apart because it wasn't sucking up. So she tried to clear everything and also TRIED to put it back together.

You may have a clog in there somewhere,
but still enough suction to pick some dirt up but it doesn't get sucked into the dirt cup and falls out when you turn it off. If your filters are over a year old or not maintained or cleaned frequently they may be restricting the air flow which can lead to clogs.

How do I change the bag on the Hoover Elite 600 vacuum

Looking up your vacuum it should be very simple. There will be a zipper on the side or back of the bag. Unzip that and it will expose the dirt catching bag. There will be a point with a hard round cardboard connection plate that connects to the intake hose. This is gently removed by pulling and twisting. Once you have disconnected that you can remove the whole dust collection bag. Your new one will be flat but still have the same connection point. Gently press that back on the intake hose securely and then zip the bag back up. The flat bag will inflate as soon as you turn on the vacuum again.

Hoover not sucking

Remove all filters and try the suction on your hand, NOT THE FLOOR!
Filters are vital to keeping the motor working.
Most vacuum sucking probs are a result of a clogged filter or filters. Sometimes, hoses also. Or a full bag.
Remove all filters, clean them thoroughly, check hose for obstruction.
Use another vacuum to remove dust/dirt (or an air compressor) from the dirty filters.
That's first step.

Want to blow air out to inflate mattress

You need to remove the main head with the brushes from the front and install the safety cup. The remove the bag by unclipping from the top and disconnecting the boot end from the bottom with an outwards twist. Now attach the hose to the exposed outlet; attached the thin nozzel designed for inflating to the hose and switch on - you will feel air being expelled from the hose.
Air, which normally contains dirt and dust because you're hoovering is blown into the bag, but now with the bag removed; the air is blown into your hose, through the attachment and into what ever needs inflating.

Panasonic MC-E468 vacuum cleaner loss of suction

HI If the cleaner is loosing suction make sure to check all inspection tubes and the dirt channel hoses after the spinning brush. Also check the main hose for any clogging. One of the worst faults of this model is clogging hoses. Hope that helps you.

No suction with my Hoover Breathe Easy Upright

If the bag fills up with air it should be sucking since the air that fills the bag is blowing air into the bag thus the dust gets carried along with it. However it should be easy to inspect the hose by taking it off by either removing screws *dont lose them, by the way! And looking at the dust channel after the beater bar. Either way something is clogged if the dust bag is filling up with air. Also check that the filter underneath the bag or beside the motor is completely clean.
