How does a single rotor position sensor look like?
Hi just read your posting. Now the lights that are flashing will be in a row of 8 lights.Starting from the left to right which lights are lit,Is it the 2nd and 4th or the 3rd and 6th ---etc---?Please reply with the additional information and I can help you rectify this fault.Looking forward to your reply.
Hi just read your 2nd posting.Sorry its taken a little while to get back to you, but my computer has been playing up.Now the Error code on your machine is 130 which is called Single Rotor Position Sensor Error. This means the rotor sensor , which is located on your motor is faulty or the wiring to it is faulty or your Control Module, which reads the information from it is faulty. Now to test the Rotor Sensor ,unfortunately you need a device called an RPS tester. This tests the circuit of the component to see if is functioning correctly. If you have an electrical test meter I can guide you throe the testing of the wires to the Rotor Sensor but unless you can get hold of an RPS tester I cant help you test the Rotor Sensor. You could change it to see how it goes, but as I said earlier the Control Module could be the fault and only eliminating the Rotor Sensor of being faulty do you change the Control Module. Please reply to let me know how you would like to proceed and I will help you as much as I can.Looking forward to your reply.
