The best way is to get a tipod for small dishes and a compass. practice aligning it up at home enough to understand where south is and how to watch out for obstacles such as trees. if this is not what you need, then i need more info on the camper and how you are trying to set it up.

Where is the drain?

There are grooves on both sides of ac unit on a camper and it drains down the roof to a little gutter that travels the water towards end of camper and drains. Most of the time down the side of camper, but if these Grove are stopped up it will not allow it to drain and cause it to overflow inside camper. If filter is very stopped up or evaporator coil is stopped up, fan not running, low on refrigerant, or having the thermostat set way to low can cause it to freeze up and when this water thaws out it is too much for the drain to handle and also ice could be sticking being the drain pan melting causing it to go in your camper. I would check filter and those drain grooves first.

I have a camper with a Dometic rooftop air conditioner. The Model No. appears to be 3310700.012. The thermostat it the type that fully shuts off the unit (compressor and fan) when the set temperature is...

no both the options A and B which you gave cannot be done.yes option B is possible in some form.but in this case fan will not shut down and this will burn the fan motor and even make the fan wirings short/.so option B is also not advisable.but the problem is either in the thermostat or in the thermostat shut-off relay.the voltages needs to be checked by meter to confirm the fault. This will help. Thanks please keep updated.please do rate the solution positively .thank you for using fixya

hi chuck. the source of the carbon monoxide is outside of your unit. for example other engines running near by sending fumes into your unit and setting off your alarm

The air conditioner on my pop up camper is loud and vibrating

sounds like the compressor in your air conditioner has a broken spring in it,you can not take the compressor apart to fix,has to be replaced(cashy).I assume your camper is shaking, and the noise only happens when you turn on the air.

Brake controller not communicating w/ 7 pin connector

what type controller did you install? Is this a camper or trailer? Is the controller hydraulic plumbed into master cylyder? Important to know how to adjust rheostat for sensitivity. If set at minimum the system is basically on the edge of not sending any signal to towed unit. The intructions should explain how to make this adjustment. If set too sensitive trailer brakes will lock up before the tow vehcle starts to brake. Controller should be set so trailer starts braking just befor the tow vehcle. If not the trailer will tax the tow vehicle brakes by pushing. Its set right when you feel the combination stretching out. trailer first then tow vehcle. Good luck and remember, if truck brakes first and too hard you risk a jacknife. All light voltages should be system voltage. Brake voltage is variable depending on setting on controller. Understand your breakaway brakes and how they work. breakaway breaks require an auxillary battery. Again, good luck and you know where to find me if I can be of anymore help.
