Question about 2wire (2701HG-B) Wireless Router
I have a computer connected by ethernet and one by wireless. We have been using this set up for over a year just fine. For no apparent reason the wireless computer will no longer connect to webpages, but appears to be connected to the internet as shown by the network map. The ethernet connection works fine and allows webpages. The wireless computer will connect to the router configuration page and we can change settings. We tried rebooting and restoring factory defaults and tried resetting (unplugging) the router. None of these steps fixed the problem:
We get the following message when trying to visit other webpages: "Gateway Alert Notification. Success. Resolution Successful. The error has been resolved. Please close down your browser and restart it to continue browing on line."
When we close out of the browser and restart it the same thing happens.
Please provide any advice on how to resolve this problem.
