Question about Computers & Internet
Here's the best thing you can do.
Do you have the original printer disk?
If not, it seems to me that the printer has the incorrect driver installed. Just because the printer prints doesn't mean the printer has the correct drivers. So what you need to do is get the information for your printer.
Go to www.hp.com or www.lexmark.com depending on your printer name and model.
From there you are going to find support
Click on software and drivers.
Type in the name of your printer: e.g. HP Laser Jet 1315
Select your operating system: Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7
You want to install the Full Feature and Driver Software.
This is a little vague without knowing your operating system and printer model.
