UE stands for Unbalanced error.

In order for this error to show - it must be tripped 3 times.

re-distribute the load.

If this error continues - no matter the load - the support shocks may be worn or snapped.

Unplug the washer for 20 minutes to clear the code, and re-try.

Thanks!!

UE Error Code

The UE error code (Unbalanced Error) displays when you wash items that cause the machine to shake badly during the spin cycle, if possible wash and drain the items only, then open the door and stack the items evenly on both sides of the drum in order to balance it, now select the spin cycle.

My 7kg LG front loader WD-80134T showed a UE error. Please can you tell me what this means and where can I get the manuel?

This is an imbalance error code. Too small of a load will cause this error code.
-Check and rebalance the load
-Make sure Washing Machine is level
-Redistribute the load evenly

How do I rectify the UE code , I have finoished my wash but it is still showing up

Hi.

US means unbalanced error. Try balancing the unit as explained on the owners manual. Try redistributing the load. Check the floor. If that does not work try following the instructions in the diagrams for the specific code available on the LG support website. Here the link.

Sometimes on the wash cycle the machine stops and the lettering ue appears on screen and flashes

Two possible problems too much weight (pieces of clothing) and second you need to redistribute the load to make it even, and re-engage the wash cycle again. Good Luck

UE displayed on panel westinghouse 708 washing machine near end of cycle shows 6 mins left on spin then shows UE, cannot go into normal cycle.

I WOULD TRY TO LOOK AT THE DRAIN PUMP ASSEMBLY ON THE UNIT.... IT IS EITHER STOPPED UP OR NOT PUMPING FAST ENOUGH OUT DUE TO DEBRI IN THE PUMP AREA... GAIN ACCESS TO THE DRAIN PUMP AREA AND REMOVE HOSES AND LOOK INSIDE AREA.
the code data base for this is saying ue = drain failure... hope this helps you out

Screen reads UE? what is UE?

UE stands for Unbalance Error. If the washer has tried to spin numerous times, tried to redistribute the load itself between each attempt, and still not been able to get the load up to full speed without experiencing an off balance condition, it will finally stop and display the UE code. This is most often the case when a heavy / bulky item(s) are being washed and the spin speed is set very high. When washing these items, set the spin speed to low. The machine will most likely be able to handle that. If you want them spun out faster, then AFTER the washer has made it through the cycle on low speed spin do this: Turn the power back on. Without selecting any cycle, just press the spin speed button, selecting the next higher spin speed. Now press start, and your washer will just do a 14 minute or so pump and spin.
For super wet heavy loads, if you cannot even get the washer to go through a cycle on the lowest spin speed, you may have to wring a bunch of the water out of the clothes by hand before doing the 14 minute cycle thing.

Please help! My samsung 7kg J845 front loader keeps flashing UE on the error code (spin cycle) and I can't open the door. Sarah

Hi, I have the same washing machine and it flashes UE on the error code during spin cycle when I have one thing in there, or if the clothes are uneven. I usually have to wait until the lock light goes out, re-arrange the clothes and continue spin cycle. If it is just one item in there, I usually have to manually wring it out as it will keep saying error if I keep trying to spin.

Error Message and Tub not spinning

UE is likely an unbalanced load or load is too large. Reduce the size of the load and your issue should be resolved.

My washer shows UE code

UE code is an "unbalance error". Believe it or not, it is possible to unbalance a front load style washing machine. Usually caused by trying to wash smaller loads where the drum spins to try to distribute the weight evenly. With less laundry, you cannot distribute enough weight evenly around the drum and sometimes will cause an unbalanced load. If your problem is not a simple loading issue, it could be the balance sensor, loose wiring, or possibly the main control board. I hope this helps.
