Question about Kenmore Washing Machines
I just replaced the drive coupling on the motor of my Kenmore 80 series direct drive washer because it was broken. Before putting it back together I made sure the motor and transmission turned freely. Now that it is back together the motor simply hums when I select spin or rinse or whatever? Could it be a bad capacitor on the motor?
The wigwag is bad, which has to be replaced,, you need to find out what caused the drive coupling to fail in the first place & fix that problem or else you will have the same problem again..
