That should be Traction Control. This is something to look into as the TC can automatically adjust other systems. Braking and engine performance can be compromised.
You are having signal problems in the sensors which count the spins on the wheels. The sensor can be bad or dirty, or falling out of position. There should be a test port for diagnostics, but only a scanner capable of reading this function will help.
Often the scanners need "Chips" for the individual manufacturer to work. Since you have a Foreign car, you may only find the right equipment for testing at a Dealer.
I was wondering the same thing and I came up with this amazing discovery. Whenever I make a milkshake for some reason it brings all the boys to my yard. Thats what the faucet light means
the tc is the traction control light the switch to turn it on and off is in the glove compartment labeled tc try pressing it to see if the tc light goes off
ABS = Anti-lock Brake System. TC = Traction Control System (Engine Control Module). If the ABS lights on the dashboard permanently the ABS system is faulty. You must access the ABS & TC Electronic Control Units (ECU) memory for pull out all DTC (Diagnostic Trouble Codes), using diagnostic equipment connected to the data link connector of the car. Then you will be full informed about bad pieces (e.g.: front right wheel abs sensor interrupted, ...). After bad pieces replacement you will be able to erase all faults memored by ABS ECU, in other words reset the ABS system and turn off the warning lamp on dashboard. I suspect bad brake pedal switch, but you should scan the ABS & TC ECU's.
Bring it back to the repair shop that did the initial repair and have them complete this repair. There is something wrong. They have to reinspect their work and check the ECU for loose wiring and determine whether you need a new ECU.
There are several waring lights on your dash so lets see if i can guess: does it look like this ( ! ) with some squiggly lines under it? If it is that's your tire pressure warning light tell you that one or more of your tires is low on air. after you correct you tire pressure you'll find a tire pressure reset switch just inside you glove box push it for a few seconds and your warning light should get cleared.
scion tc are like this when this symbol ( ! ) appears its the sensor of you tire means to say one of your tire is LOW on air after you pump it you need to re-set it again the reset button is in the globe compartment
A sign like this indicates that your parking brake pads(shoes) are worn, and are in need of replacement.
A sign like this indicates that there is problem with the ABS system (can be anythig from a faulty wheel speed sensor to a burnt out fuse) A non functioning ABS could bring the tires to a lock up during extreme braking which could be rather dangerous.
