Here you will find more about this recorder...I mean specifications and other stuff like that ..and if you pay attention it says clear that this unit is powering with a 12 V power adapter ...take care and do not try to connect it in a 110 or 220 V regular power plug ..
It has a plug that has the power symbol ...and in there you have to connect a 12 V regular adapter ..

get an adjustable voltage adapter ...and fix it on 9 V if the plug is marked with 9V ...That may be more than one model on the same recorder and may have different voltage the make ...I looked on that review about it ...and there said 12 V in ...but if it is said 9V ...get a adjustable adapter doesn't matter if it do not have the exact plug ..cause the plug you can get it separate and join it ...and ..first try with 9 V ....if it works than leave it like this ..and so on ...if it does not ..than try on 12 like it says in the specs...

In fact ..if I think better if it sais 9 V than this is what it should have matter what it says on the link with the specs....cause it may be an error on the net ..but there is no way that they will put that 9V on the plug if it is not the value that is supposed to have ...So I will go for sure on the 9 V adapter ..

Tablet not charging

Hello. We would need more info to help you with this issue. I will list the typical scenarios that your device may be in and a suggested solution to each:

1. the power cord is working and is the correct amperage, the tablet indicates a "charging" light or icon but the battery does not charge.

This would indicate that the battery has failed and would need to be replaced. Battery prices vary but I did find this site that has an inexpensive replacement.

2. the power cord is not the original one that came with the tablet - the charging light or icon is not on.

Tablets typically take more amps than many cell phones. Trying to use a power cord or charger that does not meet the minimum requirements and will not charge the battery. Check the back of tablet to see what the input Wattage and Amperage is needed and make sure your charger meets these two ratings. If not, replace the charger with a unit that does match these settings.

Hope this helps. thank you

Curling iron power cord replacement

Simply get a cord of the same amperage and voltage, strip both cords, splice them, tape them well and you should be good. Keep fido away from the unit, lest he become a corn dog!

Hp PSC1210 All-In-One not turning on

HP makes a couple of different power cords for the PSC 1210 and their other printers. First make sure you are using the correct power cord (Amperage and voltage). Unplug the power cord (from the wall and the printer and from a power module if you have one). Leave all of the sections unplugged for at least 15 seconds to reset the power module/printer.

Next connect the power cord to the wall outlet and to the power module if present and check if the LED (if present lights up). If it doesn't try another outlet. In either case, check what the outlet voltage/amperage is at the end of the power cord with a multimeter (before you plug it into the printer). If you have a power module, then check the Amperage (it will be a DC current out).

If you are not getting the correct voltage and amperage out or the LED doesn't light (with a known good outlet), try a different power cord/module.
You can order these from HP.

If you have the correct power at the cord, plug the power cord into the printer and attempt to turn it on. (Press and release the power button.) If the printer still doesn't come on, the unit needs service. Contact HP if the printer is under warranty. Decide if it is worth fixing if it is out of warranty.

I hope this helps.

The tip is missing on my power cord Whistler XCS also has rechargeable batteries but seems like it won't work without power cord. So is the cord easy to replace? Does that mean the detector is...

You can buy cigarette lighter power supplies at radio shack, they sell a wide variety of voltages and tips to fit almost any device (radar detector) you may have.
The 4 things you need to know (which you may be able to find off of the broken power cord
  • voltage, your car is ~12VDC (volts DC) but your device may need something lower
  • amperage, your device has a certain power draw, as long as your new plug has the same or higher you are good (ie: your device may say 500mA, you can use a 1A power plug (1A = 1000mA)
  • tip size, these vary from device to device, best thing is to bring it into Radio Shack with you and size it up there
  • polarity, what is positive and what is negative (on the tip), this may also be found on the old power plug or manual, or sometimes on the device itself)
I hope this helps,

Need to apply high RPM in order to move my car

Hi ROn, I have the same car a GTI. It could be two problems with a manual Racer. It could be that your gear shift link is missing or worn and it is causing you to not be able to select the proper gear. Another problem could be that your plug wires are dead and not conducting enough current to the engine causing you to lose power. Check it out!

Missing power cord and wanting requirements for Norelco 4845xl

For many older Norelco shavers, such as this model, the power cord simply connects 110 VAC to the shaver. The principle voltage reduction and current limit circuitry for the motor and battery charging are within the shaver. That is why the cord is just a cord, available for under $5 online (<$10 with shipping), without a housing for a transformer or electronics within the cord.
The amperage will likely be very low, e.g. <0.1A, but I do not have access to this model for checking actual requirements.
