You need to diagnose first if the problem is the charger or the port of the laptop itself if it is possible to try a different charger to check if the cause of the problem is the charger if not then what i suggest is for you to check if you still have a warranty for your HP laptop so that you can bring it to the repair center free of cost because it might be the motherboard that it is causing the problem

How do i fix a battery on a samsung tablet

The problem may be a frayed wire inside the charger cable right at the connector, or the charger jack may be worn or have a cracked solder connection. If it charges reliably with a different cable (such as a USB cable connected to the computer, it is probably the charger cable. If it has to be wiggled to get it to charge with a known good cable, then the charger jack should be replaced. This requires an expert technician; the solder connections are very small, and the circuitry requires special handling because it is easily damaged by static electricity.

My eee pc 1005hab laptop won't charge. I have it connected to the charger and nothing I don't know what to do. Please help

When this happends, the three usual suspects are the charger, the charging port (where the charger plugs into the laptop), or the motherboard itself.
Now to see where the problem lies. These would be my first steps...

1> Is there a light on the charger, if so, does it light up? If it does have a light, and it lights up then we can leave the charger out of the equation. If it has a light and it does not light up, we can assume the charger is the culprit. If it does not have a light, you will need a voltage tester.
2> Is where you plug the charger into the laptop loose? Sometimes, the charging port on the laptop can become loose (separation or partial separation (also known as a short) from the motherboard and loose the connection to the laptop. This keeps the energy from reaching both the laptop and the battery to create a charge.
God luck!

Googe nexus 7 will nt charge

If you feel comfortable you could take it apart and re-solder the charge port. Most tablets are not that hard to take apart. You really just need some plastic pry bars and small screw drivers

Not charging

There are a few things you can try (you may have done some of them already):
  1. It may seem simple, but try plugging your charger into another outlet.
  2. Check the charging connector on the phone. Make sure that it's free of any dirt that could be blocking the connection to the charger.
  3. Buy another charger. If it doesn't help, return it afterward.
  4. It could be the battery itself that's dead. You could try looking for a replacement battery, but that may be harder to return if it doesn't help. You could also try taking the battery out, and then plug in the charger... some phones (very few) will work without the battery, but this will tell you right away if it's the battery.
  5. The charging port on the phone itself could be loose. Try jiggling it with the charger connected to it.
  6. The charging port could be dead or there could be some other type of electrical issue with the phone (water damage, maybe, or something else).
Hopefully this helps. Good luck.

I have a hp g60, i have a really weird issue. Some times my laptop stops charging suddenly and the small led next to my charging input slot does not show any light. I checked my charger its showing...

Kind of vague. It could be the port on your laptop where the charger plugs into. It could be bad, or could have a bad connection to the motherboard due to use or manufacturing defect. When the charger stops charging then it has to use the battery power. This morning the battery may have had a low charge causing the laptop to shut down. Did you notice the battery's power level before it shut down? If you are wiggling the end of the charger that is plugged into your laptop to get it to start charging again, then that is most likely your problem. Do not wiggle it , for it could fry your motherboard. If that is the case then that port needs to be re-soldered.

My laptop (hp x9010)is not switching on ,i pressed the reset button but still not responding whats the problem and solution

This could be down to several problems.
Firstly, check that the battery is being charged by the charger and indeed if power is getting to the laptop via the charger. The simplest way is to see if the charger LED light is green. Flashing green indicates that the power is being "spat back".. ie: not completing the circuit and this indicates that the charging circuit on the board may be damaged.

Secondly, is the charger plug tight in the port? A loose plug will not make enough contact (if it is try wiggling it and see if that helps. If it IS loose and works whan wiggling, you will need to get it replaced.

Thrirdly, try removing the battery and AC power, press the on button for 30 seconds, reconnect the Ac adaptor only and see if it then powers up

failing that, it would seem that the main fuse on the motherboard has bloen and you need it replacing

My charge port in my 2006 cadillac cts repeatedly blows the fuse. How can I fix this?

Does the fuse blow every time you plug something into it? I guess what I'm getting at is it possibly your phone charger only, or does the fuse blow when someone else plugs thier charger in (different charger)? I guess if the fuse blows, no matter what you plug into it, I would suspect the charge port itself. Does it seem like it's loose in it's mounting bracket? You may have to replace the port.

I have a blackjack two the chaging port is messed up i know but when i plug it in the red light comes on but the phone never chages fully is that because the charging port is messed up?

The charging port could be bad. Try plugging the charger slowly and try wiggling it. If it wiggles, then you have a loose power jack and you need to contact the manufacturer to fix it for you.

You may also try using another power charger that has the same voltage output.

Have a great day!

Power

Did the battery seem to lose it's charge rapidly prior to this, this would be an indication of a battery losing it's useful life, or a problem with the charge system.

Have you tried to take the battery out, plug the computer to a wall outlet granted you have the power adapter which is the same as the charger cord I would think. If that works I would say you need a new battery. Sometimes the plug port where it connects in the computer wears, so try and wiggle the cord if you didn't get something the first time.
