Could be the spring is faulty on thie hinge assembly or the tip of the latch has brocken off not securing the blades to the clipper, either way check to see if the blade will disconnect from the clipper without depressing the latch. related clipper parts can be found at www.angliaclipperservices.com

Dewalt 735 planer trips overload a lot. New blades, thin cut no difference. Run it, without wood, it trips. Overload switch? Checked everthing. Turns free with chains off. Bluespook

id check the feed roller drive or feed rollers them selfs I find due to pressure there under most times they get flat spots in them from sitting makes for a hard start to planer

its best to back off tension rollers when storing these and keep them bearings lubed up well
and yes it happens to sealed bearings too

The pto switch broke how can I rig it to turn the blades on to cut

I dont think you'll be able to rig this to run with blades like your thinking. the pto usually is a lever that moves/puts pressure against the pulleys then against the belt, which in turn drives the blades. you could probably look at the pulley configuration on your mower and buy a belt that would go from the main drive pulley to the blades and go direct, or devise a chain gear system in place of the pulleys. only problem with that is the blades are constantly moving, increasing risk of injury to yourself or others who may not know about your special set-up

Tablesaw shakes while running

Is it possible you didn't get the motor back in the mounts in exactly the same position? Very strange that you'd get a vibration problem if you didn't change something in the pulley or blade arbor. Did you disturb anything other than the motor?

It's actually a Skil model 4280 sabre saw. Problem is it doesn't grip blades properly, so they are constantly slipping out. Chuck seems to be engaged, have shot WD-40 in it - no change. Ideas?

There is nothing wrong with your Skil 4280. The universal U chuck blade is the problem. Look at Lenox blade 4318JC or Disston 5418 and you will see a slight ridge on the face of the blade on both sides where the teeth start and the blade tail engages the chuck. Without the ridge the blade will come out.

you need to bring all 3 blades to point at each other on the deck
do they all look the same?
aLL 3 should meet each other evenly with no more than 1/8th inch difference high or low point to point.
the stump strike could have bent the deck on that side
also be sure the fin side of the blades are pointing towards the deck when installed.
check that your deck is level on a level surface and the air pressure in all for tires are up to recommended pressure.
most of the time 14psi front and 10psi rear
