You did not mention the brand or model of your gun, however, you can determine the angle needed by placing a straight edge in line with the path of the driver and measure the angle from this edge to rails.. If the straight edge to the rails measure 90 degrees or makes a right angle, you need "0 degree" nails, if it measures 80 degrees, you need "15 degree" etc. Most generic nials 15 gauge nails will work. No need to by branded nails unless your gun requires an unusual angle. Good luck.

We purchased a Porter Cable Staple Gun, Model # DA250B. Unfortunetly, it does not explain how to load the staples into the gun! Could you please help us. Thank you, ...

Porter-Cable/Delta has an excellent support site, where you can find pdf manuals, part numbers, etc.
http://servicenet.deltaportercable.com/

Porter-Cable DA250B is an angled finish nailer- it drives 15 gauge brad nails, and won't work with staples. There are some smaller pneumatic tools that can drive both brads or staples, they are typically the smaller 18 gauge fasteners.

If you have the correct 15 gauge angled nails, the DA250B manual has nice pictures showing how to insert them.

Shooting two nails at once

Problem of double fire is very common with nailers (the gun very quickly fires twice), however two nails at once can only happen if the wrong gauge nails are used in the gun. A 15 g nailer can very easily pass two 18 g nails or, with more difficulty, pass two 16g nails. To help prevent the driver blade from hitting two nail heads at once, most drivers are slightly tapered at the tip so that the driver will hit the first nail and the tapered part will push the other nails back into the rails slightly. Remove the head of the nailer and pull out the driver. Measure or compare the thickness of the driver to the thickness of the nails. If you are using 15 gauge nails, check the driver for taper. The tapered part should face the rails. If not tapered, try carefully grinding a taper keeping the tip cool so that you do not loose the hardness. You could also check for other brands of 15 g nails. There is a big difference in quality among brands of nails. Good luck with your repair.

I have the nt65ma2 it keeps shooting two nails at once. When you put the nails in do they need to go in the top track ? Or do they slide right in ?

Check that the nail is correct for the gun. Fifteen gauge is a very stout/strong nail and measures around .060. Place a strip of nails along the outside of the rails with nails aligned with rails. The first nail should be aligned with path of driver. If the angle is off do not use. Look at the thickness of the driver (and or condition of, no damage ), the nail should look about the same thickness. If nail is thinner than driver, the second nail in line will be in the path of driver. This could cause damage to gun. I believe that the nails slide in from rear.

Where do i get the nails for this gun?

Most home/building-supply centers carry a variety of cut-head/full head nails that are glued in angle patterns. Take the gun to the store and match a clip to the magazine. If the angle of the nail stack fits up to the nailing head, they should work. If you bought this machine new, the manual should have described what was required. Hope this helps!
