Question about ASUS F3E-AP183E T7250/2.0/160/1G/15/VBS PC Desktop

Asus laptop says it is connected to the internet but it doesnt work . Its not teh router as every other laptop, x box and other wireless devices work fine. it has done this since I bought it a year ago. I just keep trying and it eventually works but I cant take this anymore !!!!! I have been trying everything for the past 2 hours and no go. I unplug both the router and modem and try again.. reboot the puter, sometimes Ms windows tries to repair it but most of the time it just says its connected and not problem ;P ya right.

This may or may not help...i figure what the hell at this point, what have you got to lose. There is the possibility that you picked up malware or a trojan and it has changed the internet settings that will keep you from accessing the internet. I am guessing that all you are getting is the Internet can not connect to page. But if you look at the connection icon, it shows that you are connected to your network....right?

Bring up your home page on your web browser, I am assuming you are using Internet Explorer, but these settings are the same in each browser just in a different area. Now once the window is up, don't worry that you can't connect to the actual page, it doesn't matter, look to the right and click on the drop down menu "tools", scroll to the bottom and choose "internet Options". When this window opens, at the top click on the "Connections" tab. Look at the bottom and choose "LAN settings. Now, only the box that says "Automatically detect settings" should be checked! Everything else needs to be unchecked....period!!

Now, click apply or ok or both and exit. Now refresh the browser page and see if you home page comes up....if it does, then great....do a malware search and destroy with "MalwareBytes Anti-Malware Tool"...you can get it here... www.filehippo.com

Perform a "Quick Scan" only and delete all the infections it finds. If this does not fix the problem....sorry, I tried.

May be your modem is not configured correctly by bsnl.
call up your telephone exchange ask for the correct details of the connection and try again.
If it still doesnt work ask for a replacement of the modem.

My asus eee will not connect to any wireless networks, goes to pending and just sits there. I tried connecting directly to the router but nothing happend.

turn the router off and then wait a few minutes before turning it back on. then try again. if it doesnt work you can call the company that you get the internet service from and get the security key from them. or they can atleast tell you step by step what to do.

My ASUS 1000HE works off line, but no Internet connections

Firstly connect to your router by typing 192.168.0.1 in the internet address bar (sometimes 192.168.1.1) and this should connect to your router. Now log into the router i dont know what router you have but mostly its admin and admin or password = password. Make sure all the settings there are correct like your ISP login name and password. Hope this helps

Trouble getting on the internet on my laptop

Assuming all the cables are connected the way it used to be befoe you went, I would suggest you to try and ping a global DNS address . ( Start - Run - cmd ) type ping 4.2.2.2 in the command prompt , and see if you can get four replies.
Else, I would suggest you try to power cycle teh the router once and if that doesnt work still, please reset it once.
hope this helps
Thanks

Asus PC 900 HD wifi connection failed?

check if the build in wifi finds your router/the home-WAN u already use(??)

turn over router, write down the WPA-nr (16 digits)

use logon program-tool provided with router or laptop,

if working, it should at least display some of the wifi-nets/hot-spots/WANs available at ur place,

then log onto your one, enter wpa-key(is password and for encrypting your connection)

choose defining ip-config using DHCP-standard/automatic ip-adressing,

a network-connection symbol may now pop up at lower right on the task bar :

and retry surfing.

good luck

Wireless internet problem

this could be any number of things, but a good thing to try is downloading winsock from microsoft's web site and running it on your laptop. It is an internet setting reset utility that should put all your settings back to default.

hopefully that works for you

Can't use internet wirelessly through router

You need to connect the line cable in your dsl modem the the router and go through the set-up procedure on the router.
I.E. put all your ISP settings into the router.
