Question about Canon PowerShot SD790 IS/ IXUS 90 IS Digital Camera
Canon SD790 has a problem where the two screws in the side of the camera work
themselves loose over time, then fall out. Many times people lose the two side body pieces of the camera as well!
Both screws need to be put back in place and held in with 'Locktite' so they don't fall out again.
If you do a Google search for "Canon SD790 screws " you will see in the #1 position Darntoothysam com, where you can buy the exact OEM Canon screws for $7 including shipping.
Hope this helps!

This is probably not going to help you much but I left mine into a little shop which has sold cameras for years and does repairs. They managed to find some screws that fit the camera. There's no point going to a jewellers or opticians because the screws that they use are smaller than the ones that are in cameras. I know because I tried!

You might find them at a jewelry or watch repair shop.
