1) download the firmware that is suited for your computer
Operating System and your type of player from "CREATIVE"
2) Connect player to USB 2.0
and update with the firmware-update
3) Wait until the update is fully completed
4) After the update disconnect the player
5) Connect to USB 2.0 again
6) Check for the presence of the STANDARD MAPS for Music,
Pictures and Video
7) Files can be written into the STANDARD MAPS
8) Written files should be present after disconnecting
9) Files ready for mobile playing on ZEN mozaic now

Zen V Plus 4 GB

Have you tried updating the firmware of your Zen V Plus? I've had mine for almost an year and haven't had these issues -- I updated the firmware as soon as I unpacked it.

try downloading the
MP3 player recovery tool from Creative's website (the tool contains the latest firmware update available -- 1.15.03). Plug your ZV+ into your PC, run the program and let it update the firmware. Then format, reload your music and try it.

By the way, before updating the firmware, let the battery have a full charge, ok

Creative Zen Nano Plus 1 GB

The way to fix it is, on your PC, you make folders on the Zen Nano drive. Title those folders as you want. Then you put all of the audio into those folders. And hopefully when you turn on the device, the audio will be in folders. Good luck.
