if you go to the web site of the manufacture they havre a printable version of the manual there is even a phone number to call for help please try this ok and let me know how this works for you

You need your serial number of the trolling motor, length of shaft, and thrust poundage.
or you could call Minn Kota direct and give them the same information at 800-227-6433.

I'm installing a Minn Kota Power Drive 70# on my Crestliner Fishhawk. I understand the 24 volt system. however the boat has 2 black, an orange and a red wire running to the batteries. I know black to neg. but where do the orange and red wires go.

Solution- Take the cover off the Deckhand 35 by Minn Kota. Inside is a motor drive. Remove the cover plate held in place with 4 screws. inside are nylon gears, most likely broken. The gears can be replaced with a Minn-Kota Deckhand Gear Repair Kit.
I found mine on the web at Northland Marine.com it's about $24.00 for the kit, plus shipping.
