If you have numerous programs loaded it takes a lot of the memory to open anything. Delete what is not used
Also on the Internet Explore go to the tools tab & choose DELETE files and sites you have on your system to speed up your downloading time

Evening My Canon 400D Eos SLR will not take photos in manual mode setting , goes through the motions of shutter open and close but when it comes to viewing the picture on the lcd display ( nothing there)....

Okay lets put some "joy" back into your photo's The reason you aren't getting anything is because your shutter speed is to fast. Your setting I think you are trying to say are F5.6 100 ISO and 1/100 shutter speed "M" manual setting. Actually if you looked closely on your "nothing there" there would be something. Anyway, Moon shots as simple as they look are anything but simple. The earth is moving and you are trying to take a still shot. I don't know where you are on this earth and every star system is different. Starting with a good solid tripod, next the lens needs to have a great enough focal length so the moon covers 2/3rds of the view (first shot) ISO 100 is good. In manual mode look at your light meter try to have your F-stop at F8 or F11 and adjust the shutter speed for proper exposure, you may need to adjust your aperture up or down once you have a "normal" exposure either increase your shutter speed or preferably stop down the lens two stops.
Your camera will meter down to 30 seconds if it goes below this then this is where you take your start (first shot) meter reading and count how many stops of light you require beyond 30 seconds.
For practice though attempt to stay within the 30 seconds by increasing the aperture but not wide open say F8 is as low as you go, need some speed adjust the ISO up to ISO 200 then ISO 400 don't go beyond this because other factors come into play at this point. the thing is you need to establish a metering point then stop down two stops and see what you have as far as exposure.

I know this may all sound really complicated but it's not the most important thing is to have a good tripod use F8 as your widest aperture don't increase beyond ISO 400 and keep your shutter speed at 30 second or above. Another problem that will occur is focus actually the lack of, your camera requires contrast to focus one you have established this shift the lens into manual and recompose your scene. What we aren't done yet don't touch the camera when your release the shutter. Use the 2 second time delay to give the camera time to stop vibrating after the shutter has bee depressed remove your hand DON'T touch it until the picture is finished. If it were me I'd be looking at doing a few landscapes at night to get use to all this stuff then tackle the moon so to speak. In the mean time here is a picture of The Fork Of the Thames in London Ontario Canada.

DOCUMENTS WON'T PRINT

Power down the printer for at least 30 seconds. Power up and try again. If no joy, click on the printer icon at lower left of desktop and cancel any documents that are queued up. You right-click on the document in queue and restart or cancel will show up. You can also cancel all documents if you have a bunch. If that doesn't work, try rebooting your computer.

My C6180 suddenly takes FOREVER to print a page, even a one-word document which I did as a test. It used to print a page in a couple of seconds,. Now each page takes 30-40+ seconds. Maddening. Help.

You could try the HP support document for your model:

Slow Printing

It is likely that you will need to follow the "Additional Troubleshooting Steps" at the bottom of this page to determine whether the problem is hardware or software related.

I have got a DCP-110C printer, how do I scan a document onto the computer then alter the text within this document?

Try this procedure and let me know how it goes

  1. Scan the page you want to convert into a Microsoft Word document.
  2. Save the scanned image in *.gif, *.jpeg or whatever format.
  3. Open that image, go to "File->Save As" and name it "xyz.tiff" in the "TIFF" format as shown.
  4. Go to "Start->Programs->Microsoft Office Tools->Microsoft Office Document Imaging"
  5. Go to "File->Open" and open your scanned document that has been saved in *.TIFF format.
  6. Go to "Tools->Send Text to Word." You will get a prompt stating this process will take time, Click OK. This will take some time depending on your computer's speed (a minute or two at the most).
  7. When it's done it will open up Microsoft word on its own and the scanned document will now be in editable mode.

Unable to set up wireless router

Shut down your computer, unplug the cable modem and the switch. Connect all three - computer to switch, switch to modem. Make sure that the ethernet cable between the router and the modem is in the router uplink port and that the computer is plugged into one of the four ports that look alike. Wait 30 seconds - plug in the modem. Wait another 30 seconds, plug in the router, wait another 30 seconds and boot the computer. Open a browser and see if you have internet access. If you still don't, then try to check the browser by typing 192.168.1.1 into the address bar of the browser. That should give you the browser sign in screen. The Linksys default is to leave the user name blank and type admin for the password. That should give you access to the router so you can check the settings. If this doesn't work, document carefully what happens and post again with your results and we'll try to go from there.

Wireless not working

Yes, There could be alot of things that are causing your Operating System to not obtain signal from your Wireless Router....I would first of all try troubleshooting this by;;
1st - Unplug your High-Speed Internet Modem and Wireless Router for 30 seconds apprx.
2nd - Restart your Computer.
3rd - Once your computer is logged in and at desktop, Plug-In your High-Speed Modem then wait until all lights appear that show your Modem is online then plug-in your Wireless Router then wait about 30 seconds then try to connect to your Wireless Connection.
If these do not work make sure that, you do not have your Wireless Router. I would also recommend that a way to create and obtain a signal strength that the computer can reach please go to the following website http://www.mythings.com/tips/1664/Where-to-Put-Your-Wireless-Router This should assist you with making a stronger signal strength.

The pictures transfer to your computer too slowly.

If your system has less than 32MB RAM, the transfer speed may be slow. Try using virtual memory. See your computer documentation or system help for more information. Check the port setting in your Windows Control panel. You may need to set your port to a faster speed. See your Windows documentation or help system for more information. If you're transferring pictures to an application through EPSON Photo!3 and you use the PhotoEnhance feature, the transfer will take longer. Try transferring without PhotoEnhance.

My pictures transfer to the computer too slowly.

If you are transferring Tiff files or video clips, you can expect the transfer to take much longer than it does for JPEG files, due to large file sizes. The transfer speed is especially slow when you are using a serial connection. If your system has less than 32MB RAM, the transfer speed may be slow. Try using virtual memory. See your computer documentation or system help for more information. Check the port setting in your Windows Control Panel. You may need to set your port to a faster speed.
