I have a Fisher Paykel GWL15 and lights 1 and 7 are blinking and the alarm is going off. Not sure what that means. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Have taken the drain pump off and did not find any clogs. What else could cause the error?

Check the water pump for an obstruction in the chamber area, your pump may be sticking and that will cause the buzzing sound. The water pump runs during the fill portion of the cycle on several of the selected wash cycles to recirculate the water.

Removed drain pump and all hoses found no clogs. Reassembled the washer and was able to run it through a spin cycle before it started beeping again. The one and seven light are still on steady not blinking. Also noticed that when all the cycle lights were lit before the error started the second light was not on. Even after the spin cycle I can still hear water in the inner tub, but can not see any water. Is it time to call a repair man?

Yes I would call a repair man now. Heve him check the ECM board. It sounds like it has a short on it. The ECM board is the board that tells the machine what to do and when to do it.

    Good luck

Hi,

Thanks for writing to Fixya.com.

The code you are getting means a plugged drain pump. Unplug unit and tip it back. Unplug drain pump and twist drain pump counterclockwise to remove. There is a tab you have to push in to be able to twist the pump. Have a bucket and towels to catch the water. Or lift the lid off and remove the two plugs on main top. Remove the screws and lift main top up. Remove fabric dispenser and unscrew wing nut in middle of agitator. Remove agitator. Remove tub ring, it just clips on. Now you can pull the tub out. On the inside of the outer tub There is a cover over the drain pump. Remove screw holding the cover and lift cover off. Feel inside pump area for blockage. You will have to feel the cover under the water or get water out with a shop vac.
Thank You for contacting Fixya and please accept the solution if it has helped you.

A freind of mines 1998 Lexus gs400 wont start,

The factory anti-theft system may not like the chip in the key you are using.
You may have to get a new key or have the system tested.

Anti-theft indicator keeps flashing when the car is off. is this mormal functioning Ford Escape 2011?

Yes it flashes to let others know you have an alarm on the car and not to mess with it! Yes. It should blink when the key is not in the ignition. This lets you know that the Passive anti-theft system is on. What this means? Basically the key you use has a specific code that coordinates with your car, and that key is the only key that will work for your car out of a possible 70 quadrillion codes or something like that. The light is used to help scare away thiefs that would break into your car, no car alarm will go off if they do, but most run of the mill car thiefs wont take the chance of breaking into your car if they think there might be an alarm on it. If the light blinks while the key is in the ignition then you shouldn't be able to start the car. It's normal for it to always flash. The only time it won't is with the car running.
If this was helpful a vote with the thumbs up would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Alarm lights keep blinking after I changed my printer ink.

E5 means cartridges error - to fix press the "stop\reset" button for 5-7 seconds and then release it.

You can also try this:

1) With the printer power turned off but connected to a power source, while pressing the Resume/Cancel button, press and hold the Power button.
(DO NOT release the buttons. The Power LED lights in green to indicate that a function is selectable.)

2) While holding the Power button, release the Resume/Cancel button. (DO NOT release the Power button.)

3) While holding the Power button, press the Resume/Cancel button 2 times, and then release both the Power and
Resume/Cancel buttons. (Each time the Resume/Cancel button is pressed, the Alarm and Power LEDs light
alternately, Alarm in orange and Power in green, starting with Alarm LED.)

4) When the Power LED lights in green, press the Resume/Cancel button the specified number of time(s)according to the function listed in the table below. (Each time the Resume/Cancel button is pressed, the Alarm and
Power LEDs light alternately, Alarm in orange and Power in green, starting with Alarm LED.)
