Question about Haier HPAC90ER Air Conditioner
This red light went on when the AC was turned on. For some reason - and this is what we're trying to find out - the unit shut down one night.
The water pan in the bottom was probably full. Did you try to drain it? First uplug the machine from the outlet. There should be a little knob to unscrew in the lower back of the machine. Once you remove it, pull out the little black stopper and have a very shallow pan ready to collect any water. Once everything is drained, replace the stopper and the knob, plug it back into the outlet, and press the reset button. Turn the unit on and wait a couple of minutes for the compressor to start.
