Try adjusting the equaliser settings in ur system. Then check with ur speaker volume! Also keep the volume in moderate level. That will sound good wen compared to sound at high levels

Why my speaker does not have any sound when i speak using my laptop mic?

Unless I'm very wrong, the microphone only works as an input into the computer, so that the computer may process sound in some certain fashion and make a recording, like an MP3, or some such.. And then, AFTER that is created, you may play it back through your computer speakers.

I JUST bought a insignia speaker 2.1 (model # NS-PCS21) and the speaker plug ins are pluged right, power are plug in, the green and the red cord plugged in... i see blue light comming up. my computer sound...

Greetings - The setup (as you already know) is simple. If you have the a/c adapter plugged in, the power on and the green speaker cable in the audio out at the back of your PC and and the red cable plugged into the subwoofer and the volume knob on the the right speaker turned up that's all it takes.

The one possible gotcha I can see is if you have something plugged into the jack at the BACK of the right speaker (an AUX jack for things like MP3 players, etc.) it will override everything else.

If that's all good you have a bad set of speakers.

I have plugged my Insignia speakes into my Toshiba laptop and also into the electrical wall outlet. The power light is on, the volume is turned up, but I am getting no sound from them. Is there another...

Hi there,

Without the speakers is there sound coming out of the laptop?

normally you just have to plug it to the headset port, it's usually a 3.5mm hole.

Make sure that the computer is not muted so that sounds will be coming out and adjust the volume from the computer itself.

Hope this helps!

Just bought new speaks and I can not hear anything.

Check the following:

1. The speakers are connected to the power supply (if exists/needed) and powered on.
2. The speakers are connected to the GREEN jack of the computer's sound card.
3. The sound card is correctly installed. If it does, you'll see a speaker icon in the system tray (next to the clock), from which you can adjust the volume. If not, refer to the motherboard installation disc to install the audio card drivers (don't forget to restart the computer afterwards)!
4. The volume is high enough and not muted - both in the player and the tray icon.
