Use a MultiMeter to check the voltage and amperage being produced by the AC adapter, and to check if the battery is discharged.

Otherwise, take the power-adapter and the laptop to a qualified technician, for proper trouble-shooting.

I can't used there's no power the battery is full even I press 30 seconds and still black please help....thank you

Your motherboard might be dead, if not then battery might be bad. Bad batteries can be fully charged but will not hold their too long. Or it might be the charger. Try replacing the battery and charger with new ones. If it doesn't work after that then the motherboard is most likely dead. One last solution that could fix your problem is buying some contact cleaner. You spray some contact cleaner where the battery meets the laptop and where the laptop meets the battery. After you spray wait about 15-30 seconds then attach the battery to the laptop and try starting up the laptop. I hope this solves your dilemma!

On some laptops you can remove the power lead and battery and press the power on button for about 30 seconds this also gets rid of any static build up, if this does not work take the bios battery out for 30-60 seconds and then put it back in and the password will be gone

It sounds to me like your battery is critically dead and needs recharging very very badly.

My laptop would not start, even after pressing start button please help

Make sure your power cord is working, You may need to purchase a replacement power supply for it or use a spare. If this still does not work, you can try removing the battery, unplug the laptop and then hold down the power button for 30 seconds to relase any power that may be locking it up - shot in the dark, but worth a try.
Unfortunately, if it isn't the power supply, either the power jack is damaged and needs to be replaced by a professional or you need to replace the motherboard. If it is an old laptop think about whether or not its worth it to sink the money into it ... you can have the geek squad or local computer guy move the data to a new computer, this does NOT mean that your hard drive is dead.

The laptop was turned off improperly and the power light is on but there is nothing oon the screen

Try pressing and holding the power button down until the power light goes off.
Once it is off, then try to turn-on the laptop as usual.
If this does not work, remove the power cord and the battery from the laptop, and then press and hold the power button down for 30 seconds.
After the 30 seconds, release the button, install the battery and re-connect the power cord. Start the laptop as usual by pressing the power button briefly.

My laptop is a Sony Vaio PCG-6Q2M with Power and Battery Problems

The best advice would be to update the BIOS and then go to the BIOS utility and restore the settings back to default. This might resolve the issue if it is software related. If not then visit the manufacturer's website and download the latest chipset drivers. Restart.
Try using a different power adapter of the same kind and check for the issue.
Turn off system and remove the power cable and battery and press the power button for about 30 seconds to power drain the system.
Turn on and check.
If not the main board itself is the issue for which I would request you to contact the manufacturer.

Won't turn on - no ac power not with battery no indicator lights

Hi, My Name is Henry. I am one of the technicians here.

It may be that the battery has gone totally flat and needs boosting to start charging or simply that its dead. Another possibility is your ac adaptor charge. You need to check to see that that is working.

If still not working. I suggest you invite a Laptop repair technician.

Please do not forget to rate my solutions to you.

Regards
Henry
