Someone cut the front door speaker wires and dont know the polarity or color codes please help 2000 ford mustang convertable

One wire should be a solid color and is the + wire to the speaker connection, the other wire should be a two colored wire, but will have a small color stripe running along the length, this is the - side connection.

Iv hade these forj dvd monitors installed but i can only get sound on the radio

The monitor only headrest does not have audio handling circuitry in it. the wire harness for that side is the one with the red and black wire, and the two video inputs, not the harness with the red and black wire and the three RCA jacks. It will function on the wrong harness, but it is not the correct one.

The DVD headrest has two harnesses. One of them is for power and output, the other is for input only from another source. The harness with the red and black wire has the three RCA outputs... the video lead goes to the other headrest, and the audio can be fed to an aux input on a stereo or amplifier. The input harness is designed to be Video 2 input from either a gaming system (a Game Cube is a nice option), or another DVD or video source (hand held video device such as iPod or Smart Phone like a HTC Touch Pro 2).

As for why you have NO sound, press the FMTX button repeatedly till the screen displays no FM transmitting frequency. Then you should be able to turn up the volume on the DVD player headrest only.

Hello, I purchased a set of Pyle Headrest Dvd's for my 2004 Nissan Armada and the instruction are not that easy to understand on how to install it. Do you know where I can get the instruction or can you...

Yeah, Ive come across too many so called instructions that are pure ****. Normally, the stand alone units have one RCA for video input and power/ground. Simply run single RCA to each with switched power and solid ground. Some have muli video inputs too for video/game ect... Contact Pyle for wire color issues.

To get sound out of the stereo, either run the audio output from the headrest to the aux input on your stereo, or cycle the FM transmit options using the FMTX button on the DVD player unit to a station you can tune to on your car's FM radio.

Connecting headrest monitors to Kenwood DDX-6019

Youll have to run sets of cables from your head unit to the seats, youll prob only need video, power, and ground if the sound will come from your speakers. For the same display on either monitor run to first position then link the 2 monitors.
