Reset instructions

If you are trying to power cycle (reset) your TV, then power it off, unplug everything from the back of it, and unplug the TV from the wall for a few minutes. After a few minutes, plug everything back in, and power on the TV. You can also reset any system changes by restoring them back to factory default.

If the problem still exists, then I would recommend setting up repair service.

Computer ramdomly turns off

Instead of unplugging everything, only unplug 1/2 of the things. If it still won't start, unplug 1/2 of the remaining things (noting which ones they are). If it restarts then, it was one of the last set of things you removed that is the problem, so keep eliminating possibilities in this fashion this until you can determine which component it was. If it turns out to be the power cord, it could be a problem with the power supply.

Our electricity went off briefly yesterday. Since that time, my remote is no longer working. Cable does come on, but I cannot access on demand or dvr'd programs

turn off and unplug everything from the power outlet/power bar (cable box, DVR, TV etc) and wait for 5 minutes.
Plug in Cable box first, wait 2 minutes, then plug in everything else.
Everything SHOULD be up and running at this point.
If not, do the same procedure, but leave everything unplugged overnight.

Mine did this and you have to unplug everything out of the back of the wii and also unplug the cord from the outlet for a few mins then plug it all back up and mine came back on it was from a power surge and it trips the circuits u have to completely unplug everything for it to reconnect the connectors.

Power Outage & Now Wii Won't Power Up...

When this same thing happened to me, I unplugged the Wii power supply from the wall (not just from the back of the Wii) and let it sit unplugged for about 10 minutes. When I plugged it back in, everything was fine.

I have a Hitachi Plasma TV model 55HDS69 that recently went black while being watched. I turned the main power off and unpluged it overnight and tried turning it back on, but only the red standby light...

Do it again, only this time unplug any video and audio inputs and outputs, unplug it from any power source, and leave it sit overnight.

I had the same problem with my Hitachi. I called a local repair shop and he said to unplug it for 10 minutes and start it again. That didn't work so I got it ready to take to the shop. I disconnected everything. The next morning I decided to check it one more time so I reconnected everything. It worked just as it had before.

I hope it works for you.

Wii / No Power

or you can remove all of the plugs from the console: AC, remote sensor, AV. This is important: You must also unplug the AC from the electrical outlet. Then wait 45 seconds, then plug the AC adapter back into the wall and your console. Power On.
