Forgot to mention, this is a Maytag Jetclean Quiet Pack Model DWU6750AAB and someone told me the screw has a part behind it that breaks and that this is a common problem with this dishwasher.

The wash arms don't come apart you can knock the stuff out of them and clear the holes with some thing small and pointed.

I have an LG model LDS4821 dishwasher that quit washing clean. Top rack is the dirtiest. Water is hot and bottom drain is clean.

The most likely cause is a blocked or clogged wash arm. Many times when the wash stops the debris blocking the spray will back away. The holes in the arm are aimed to cause the arm to rotate. The clogged hole is usually an outer diameter hole which provides the force for the arm to rotate.

Some upper end washers have a blocked arm sense to alert when arm is blocked.

Careful not to deform the geometry of the hole when removing the debris. Tweezers work the best.

Dishes on top shelf not getting clean

Check your upper wash arm.... check the holes, especially the ones at the end of the arm. Are they possibly clogged with debris or hard water? This is the usual cause of dishes on the top rack not getting clean. The holes at the end of the wash arm are angled to eject the water at an angle to use the reaction to push the wash arm around. If those holes are clogged, then the arm won't rotate, and only those few dishes or glasses right under the arm will get clean, and the remaining 80% of the dishes on the upper rack won't get clean!

Kenmore 3380957 rev a won't get dishes clean

Make sure that that upper arm is free to turn. Check it while you have dished installed, because sometimes, dishes on the lower rack may stick up too high and hit it. Otherwise, check the back of the water-supply tube attached to that upper rack.... Is it lining up with the water feed port or hole at the backof the dishwasher? Is there a gasket that is either ripped or missing? And check that wash arm carefully.... Might it be split or bent? Are the holes on the bottom clear? (Those holes are usually angled to push the arm around; if they are clogged, the arm won't rotate.)

Asko dishwasher top wash arm washes. The bottom wash are does not more.

Hello,
More often than not on Asko dishwasher the lower spray arm or filter will clog up causing this issue. The filter in the bottom twist out for you to clean. Check the lower spray arm holes they to will come clogged causing this issue.

Water goes into the bottom, but it doesn't spray the dishes.

The filter may be clogged. Remove the bottom rack and the bottom spray arm to get access to the filter. It surrounds the arm support. It could lift straight up or you may have to remove screws in the top plate to release it. If the filter is clean and the problem continues then the pump is not working. Also check to make sure the spray arm holes are not clogged and that there is nothing hitting the arm to prevent it moving (like a spoon handle sticking down below the rack.)

Clean on bottom rack but dirty on top

Clean the filter at the bottom of the tub. If it is dirty or clogged the water pressure may not be strong enough to spin the top arm. Make sure also the there is nothing blocking the holes of the spinner arm. If the filter and arm are clear then the pump may be failing.

The two rotating spayers, the one at the top and the one at the bottom that pops up, are not working. How can I fix this? This is a GE Potscrubber 800 Dishwasher.

First you need to see if you are getting enough water. Let it fill and then look at the center hub where the spray arm is. The water should be at least to the top of that hub. Also you can clean out the sump which is located in the right rear corner of the tub. Usually there is a cover over this which is easily removed with a few screws. Reach in with a gloved hand as there may be glass down there and clean it out. Also look at the spray arms themselves to see if the holes are clogged. You can usually clean these holes with a toothpick or similar object. If the water fill is too low, you may to need to clean or replace the water valve which is located behind the lower access panel usually on the left side.

Kenmore Quiet3 not cleaning top rack, now stopped cleaning all

The problem is likely that the cutter/chopper filter is plugged. This reduces or eliminates water flow to the cleaning arms.
Solution:
Remove dish baskets
Remove bottom arm - Rotate the centre post until arm is free to be lifted out.
Remove conduit to top arm(s) - Remove 2 screws, one at top and one at back. Rotate whole conduit 45 deg right and lift off of centre post.
Remove bottom plastic assembly. - Remove 4 screws and lift off.
Remove cutter cap. - Remove 1 screw at front left. Lift off plastic cap. Remove cutter filter. It is on a spring loaded pin. Pull cutter blade foreword and lift filter disc straight up. Clean filter disc thoroughly
Reassemble!

Top arm not spinning

only the top rack isnt getting clean?
there is a little plastic circle in the middle of the bottom of the upper spray arm. turn it counter clock wise to pull the upper spray arm from the upper rack. make sure that isnt clogged and the spray holes are not clogged. otherwise....

the piece that the bottem spray arm plugs into and runs along the back wall of the tank to the top is called a feed tube. pull the bottom spray arm out. now you can see the part of the feed tube that feeds the upper spray arm water. does it pop out freely and easily? if so then you need a new feed tube, if not then its most likely your not achieving the right water level or your impeller connected to your circulation pump(motor) is clogged not supplying enough water pressure to travel up the feed tube to spin the upper spray arm.
