You will probably have to replace it as there are no parts the owner can fix. J.

Fault codes P0236 and P0046 keep coming up on my freelander1 td4 2004

P0236 = Possible causes are

1. Boost pressure sensor harness is open or shorted
2. Boost pressure sensor circuit poor electrical connection
3. Faulty boost pressure sensor
4. Faulty Turbo/Super Charger
5. Engine over temperature
6. Ignition misfire exceeds the threshold
7. Faulty Knock sensor (KS)

P0046 = Turbo/Super Charger Boost Control Solenoid Circuit Range/Performance

.... based on this information I would replace the turbo boost control solenoid first.

Whe I switched a camera red light show but after 6 hours the battery does not charge

Hi,
either the battery or your charger may be faulty, if you tested with another battery, then there may be snag in your charger, if you are using a separate charger, test it with a multi tester whether the needed out put volt is getting, if not the charger must be faulty.

I'm afraid not. It will damage the battery if you try. You'll need to get the correct charger.

Batteries won't charge

Hi. Sounds like there is a faulty connection somewhere between the charger and the batteries. Are the batteries connected correctly. The charger uses the voltage level in the batteries to regulate itself. If there is a faulty connection, then the charge will not operate. Use a multi-meter to check if the batteries are connected correctly. There should be 24 to 26 volts across both batteries.
This fault can also be caused by a faulty charger socket. Check for any signs of melting or heat damage. There might also be a disconnected wire in the plug on the charger itself.Good luck. Neil.

When batteries are pluged in lights do not light up to show charge

Then unfortunatly your battery charger is faulty and has to be replaced. If the unit is under warranty a Ryobi service center will be able to supply on free of charge.
