Question about Canon CanoScan 4400f MultiFunction Color Printer
I just bought a 4400F and installed the software, then hooked up the scanner, but no drivers were found.
I then downloaded the driver from Canon's website and installed it, but still no drivers were found.
Any suggestions, please?
Go to Control Panel >> Device Manager, look for the scanner in 'Device Manager' under 'Imaging Devices'
If it is not installed properly and working there should be a yellow triangle with an exclamation mark inside it next to the scanner name.
Whatever it says, right click on it and select 'Uninstall' and allow it to be uninstalled.
Remove the USB lead from the scanner.
Re-boot the Computer.
Once windows appears and is ready to use, re-install the scanner driver do not plug in the scanner yet!.
Once it has finished installing, re-connect the scanner USB lead.
Windows should install the drivers and tell you the scanner is ready to use.
