Question about Televison & Video
Thanks for using FixYa. Yes you are absolutely right it is either the T-con board in the unit has gone bad and/or it is not getting the required 12vdc from the power supply unit. If you have knowledge of internal circuitry of the unit then you can open the back of the unit and check the T-con board which is the last board before the LCD panel. Usually it is available with the LCD Panel. All this is only recommended if you have electrical expertise & know how to solder/re-solder components as these units contain high voltages even when in off position.
