Question about Nokia 6310i
I broght a new cover for my phone as the old one was badly scratched.I wished that I had not bothered now.
The instructions I got made no mention of the speaker, the ringer ,or the volume +/- button.
It told me to remove the 4 screws and then the one securing the ariel.
I did this without any prroblem, however the "small fuse like device" which I assume is the volume control fell out and I can not get it back in as I did not see exactly how it fits in..
Also when I re tightened the 5 screws and tried to use the buttons, nothing happened,it seems as if some of the buttions are solid, however they seemed to be free enough before I tightened it all up.
Do you know where I can see adetailed photo of the phone with the back off.
The fuse like thing is the ******** motor. It clips in the top right hand corner on the same side as the volume switch. It clips in with a plastic lock.

I had over tightened the 5 screws this made the phone a solid block, loosening them a little solved this problem.
I just slotted the speaker and ringer into the slot they came from on the original cover ,these obviouslly married up to the phones connectors and work ok.
What I thought was the volume control was actually the vibrating device ,well after 2 hours of trying to replace it with tweezers I threw it in the bin.
The phone works great but no longer vibrates when ringing.
