Question about Whirlpool Duet GHW9150P Front Load Washer

1 Answer

I have a GHW9300PW0 machine and cannot locate a manual for it. Whirlpools's website says it does not exist. I am getting a water leak under the machine and would like to see an exploded view and possible causes. Thank you, Rick Gurunian

How do I connect the water to a DW80M2020 dishwasher?

I have found the manual for this machine on the samsung website. It has diagrams showing the location and the parts and tools required to hook the water up to the unit along with everything else you need to do to set the machine up. You will have to download the manual. Good luck. If you have trouble getting it installed, you may consider having a licenced plummer to it for you. That way you are covered if there is damage as a result of a leak.

Water leaking from pump

Hi thomasgor192...

If you have water leaking from the pump then you have a faulty seal that must be replaced or a gasket leak or failure.
Turn on your pump, bring it up to pressure and try to locate the leak with a flashlight and then you may be able to repair your problem by replacing your seal or tightening your gasket or replacing it.

My water bill was very high this month. How do I check the toilets to see if that's the problem and where else can I check? My faucets aren't dripping and my outside faucets aren't leaking. ...

open the tank to your toilet, flush it, then mark the water line. if the water drops then replace your flapper. if you have a ballcock type float it would be good to replace that with a fluidmaster fill valve. if the toilets dont seem to leaking then locate the water meter outside. open the lid and look at it and locate the indicator needle. if there is water running you will see a needle moving and if that is the case than there is a leak. next turn the water shutoff in the house off. look at the meter again and see if there is movement. if it is than your leak is on your service line. if it stops moving than good news no leak on the service line. if you still cannot locate the leak then let me know and i will go on about how to locate a difficult to locate leak.

Thank you very much for your quick response. I turned off the machine and water leak did not stop till all the water was drained !! Now the main problem I have is machine is not making any ice at all. For...
Go to the above web site. You will find the service manual and the exploded view of all the parts manual. On the parts manual page 10, the small part just under part "C" with the circle, is a part numbered 7J02-0400. This just might be the sump drain plug. There has to be one in order to drain the water as this is required as part of the cleaning process. I would locate that first to see if it is missing or leaking.

Water is leaking from left rear side of Washer

that is the location of the vent and valves. suspect rubber hose from valve to dispenser is busted. remove top cover to see (2 or 3 torx screws on back) the older units had a bend in the hose that breaks.

I am getting an error message that says VENTILATE

Try draining the machine. Page 37 of the user manual, Drainage. Place cup under the steam/hot water tube, turn knob clockwise around to 9. If the pump is ok, it will start automatically and start filling the cup. Drain about 1/2 cup of hot water and return knob counterclockwise to start position. If the flow meter is not damaged, the Ventilate message should be gone.
