I have that same pot that I'm throwing away because the heating element is burned out (boutght it for a buck at a sale and they said it didn't work, but I figured it would be fixable....same problem as you found; NO PARTS available).
Anyway, you are welcome to the stem and any other parts that you want. I'll put it out for the metal salvagers, so let me know if it's worth the shipping cost. I'm sure it would be under $5 for the stem, depending on where you live. I'm in Illinois.
