SOURCE: I have a PowerFast staple gun #31600. Can not

I got some staples stuck in my Powerfast 31600 too. I THOUGHT they were the right staples, I was wrong. You have to bend a little tab on the bottom of the stapler to let the slide come out of the back. Then you can remove the staples. Replace the slide and tap the tab back into place with a punch.

SOURCE: how do i load the Desa Powerfast heavy duty

Follow the directions on the bottom where it says Press to open. Slide the silver loader out. It appears as though the staples should load on top of the silver loader. When I do this, the stapler does not work. When I insert the staples directly into the opening that was created when the silver loader is pulled out (the staples pointing up), close the silver loader which closes all the way with the staples on top (like if you had loaded them on top when it was sticking out), and press the handle. Works the first time! I don't know why it works this way and not when I load it from the top when the silver loader is sticking out. I just wanted to get it working! Hope this helps others in the future.

Where do the staples load in a powerfast pro 2000 #31800

You push a tab and a portion slides out. The piece that slides out looks like you would mount the staples and just slide it back in. But that isn't how it works. Instead, you simply place the staples {pointy side up} in the spot where the portion slid out. You slide the portion back in over the staples. I've attached a pic, that shows the staples in the correct spot. Hope this helped, this boggled me for a few days until I figured it out.

How do I load my manual powerfast staple gun? Pictures?

Howdy, I don't have pictures, but that model is loaded from the bottom (not the back,as one might expect) while the plunger is pulled to the rear then pushed back in once the staples are laid in the track on the bottom. Handy once you get used to it:)

Stanley Electric HD Sharpshooter TRE 500 Staplegun: Almost zero power. Can almost put hand there and no threat... What could be the solutions?

Hi,
That is a common problem with those guns...have returned quite few of them that did not last more then a few hundred staples...my local hardware returned them got credit for them and gave me new ones...they are a poor excuse for a staple gun but there is not much of an alternative to them...

Can't find staples for this unit

If you know the size it needs, you can get replacements from Grainger.com, or McMaster-Carr.com. both of these should have what you need.
