My mp3 player keeps saying disk error when i turn it on
Look for a small pinhole on the device, and use a paperclip or needle to press the reset button inside the device.
doing this should reset the device and fix your problems

Try going to http://www.apple.com/ca/ipod/download/index_cgi.html . Download that program, install it, then open it and plug in the ipod. If it works u should be able to click restore and your ipod will work.
