HP error code 363, what does this mean?

I went online and found the HP8600 user manual and this is their solution to the error code 363 that you reported, which I copied off their site. Hope this works for you:

  • Turn Error Correction Mode (ECM) off, if you encounter the same error repeatedly. Click this link HP All-in-One and Fax Products for more information on enabling or disabling ECM.

    beaac3qsmgaaaaaelftksuqmcc

NOTE: Error codes that apply specifically to ECM have ECM listed next to them.

Error Code: 356, 357, 358, 359, 360, 361, 362 ECM, 363 ECM, 364 ECM, 365 ECM, 366 ECM

Definitions

  • The remote user pressed the Stop key, causing the session to be terminated.
  • The remote machine encountered a system problem such as no paper or a paper jam. This prevented the fax from receiving any more pages, and caused it to terminate the session prematurely.
  • The call-waiting service can cause this error. The click, heard for an incoming call, is actually a momentary disconnect of the line.
  • The remote machine encountered an incompatible feature causing it to terminate the session.

Solutions

  • Configure the remote machine for document reception by clearing any paper jams, loading sufficient paper, and clearing any other error messages.
  • Configure the local fax machine to use a slower reception speed.
  • Enable or disable the ECM setting.

Just got this used canon imagerunner 330s. It seemed to be working OK but now wont finish powering up and displays an E051 code. Can I clear or bypass this? What does this code indicate? Thanks, Keith

Error code E051 indicates there is a problem with the movable paper guides in the duplex unit. Check that the rear connector for the Duplex unit is clear of paper or toner

Says there is a paper jam but there is not

First, you have to clear the error first before sending the fax.

-open the rear access door at the back and check if there is any debris of paper. If none, close the access door and make sure you hear the snap and properly closed.

-lift the document feeder cover to check for any debris, and then close it properly.

-if error is cleared, try faxing again

Goodluck!

My Minolta CF 1501 color copier shut down with a malfunction code C0060, I cleared the paper pileup and need to know how to clear code.

It is a fuser motor error. Check that. If there is a problem with that motor, unless you clear the actual problem the error will not go away.

Clearing an error

well, one of two things have happened, 1. you haven't removed all of the jammed paper, maybe you left a small piece of a piece of paper or you may bent or broken your paper jam sensor. go through the paper path very carefully and check both things.

Try cleaning the "rollers" in the track where the paper feeds through. Look for small pieces of paper that may be logged where you can't readily see them. Look carefully. Once you clear the paper path it should work.
