Be sure to reset the Lamp counter after the lamp is replaced. When the Lamp counter is reset, the LAMP REPLACE indicator stops lighting and the Lamp replacement icon disappears.
Note: • Do not reset the Lamp counter without replacing the lamp. Be sure to reset the Lamp counter only after replacing the lamp.
1. Press the MENU button to display the On-Screen Menu. Use the Point LEFT/RIGHT(</>) buttons to move the red frame pointer to the Setting Menu icon.

2. Use the Point UP/DOWN buttons to move the red frame pointer to Lamp counter and then press the OK button. A dialog box appears showing the total accumulated time of the lamp usage and the reset option. Select Reset and the “Lamp replacement coutner Reset?” appears. Select [Yes] to continue.

3. Another confirmation dialog box appears and select [Yes] to reset the Lamp counter.

If this doesn't help then check for the filter and if required replace it. Try resetting the filter counter. Please post back for any further assistance. If you are satisfied please do accept the solution.

    Hi David,

I'll suggest you to re-install the lamp to resolve your issue, as it might have happened that the lamp may not correctly placed. Please follow these instructions---

Turn off the projector and unplug the AC power cord. Let the projector cool for at least 45 minutes. Open the filter cover. Loosen the screw and open the lamp cover. Pull out the lamp by using the built in handle. Replace the lamp with a new one. Make sure that the lamp is properly and fully inserted. Close the lamp cover and secure the screw. Close the filter cover. Connect the AC power cord to the projector and turn on the projector.

    Reset the Lamp counter.

    • Be sure to insert the lamp in the correct direction.

    • Do not reset the Lamp counter when the projection lamp is not replaced.

    Lamp Replacement

For continued safety, replace with a lamp of the same type. Do not drop the lamp or touch the glass bulb! The glass can shatter and may cause injury.

=> Allow a projector to cool for at least 45 minutes before you open the lamp cover. The inside of the projector can become very hot.

=> When the projection lamp of the projector reaches its end of life, the Lamp replacement icon appears on the screen and LAMP REPLACE indicator lights orange. Replace the lamp with a new one promptly. The timing when the LAMP REPLACE indicator should light is depending on the lamp mode.

Please post back for any further assistance. If you are satisfied please do accept the solution.

    Thanks Daniel

Hello. I have a panasonic 42 plazma tv. Model # TH 42pz77u...My issue is I'm having color problems yellowing when the screen goes to like white background. What causes this how can fix it?

You cant. It's due to the natural discoloring of the phosphors in the unit. If you have ever changed just one of two fluorescent tubes in a two lamp fixture, you might have seen this, the new lamp is brighter and usually bluer, while the old lamp, is dimmer and yellowed

Image Color problem

Yes. and look at the color wheel for a residue build up too. Use alcohol to clean it with a cloth that will not leave lint behind.

I replaced lamp on mitisubishi WD-60735. The Lamp light is still blinking yellow, the timer light lit up green, but lamp still blinking yellow

Are you sure you installed the lamp properly and put the door back so the interlock switch is functioning. Sometimes installing the lamp will get slightly displaced and is not plugged up properly and will indicate a lamp blinking light.

Tv went grayscreen, flickering. turned off, then

When you had gray screen and flickering you had only one problem - color wheel. After "putting everything together" you have totally different problem, caused by multiple possibilities like: forgotten connectors, cut/jammed cables/wires, lamp not being inserted properly, lamp door not being set properly, disconnected color wheel, etc. Try to open rear cover and redo what you have done. Remove optical block, check everything visually and slowly put everything back. If still no luck - then only skilled TV repairman may (or may not) help.

I changed the LCD lamp, but there is still a yellow haze.

The yellow haze is the result of the blue polarizer burnt-in, you will find it sitting in front of the dlp chip.

Elmo trv-35g & h - showing brite yellow color on areas in picture

I'm not too familiar with this unit but in general I'd check that the lamp is the correct type, not simply worn though not burned out, and that it's seated (aligned) properly in its socket.

less likely: If you are comfortable taking a voltage reading in the socket, it should read approximately 10 - 20% higher than the rated voltage of the lamp. This is because there is no load on the circuit with the lamp out of the socket. With the lamp in, the voltage would drop a bit. If your reading is significantly lower than the lamp voltage rating, I'd suspect a wiring problem but cna't specualte further.

Red circle and yellow tint in our white

If you have RED color that starts from Center of the Screen,(no red color on sides ) 100 % your light engine is deffective..
In order to solve this issue Replace Light Engine Control Board (also called Driver Board ) attached to light engine.

Changed printer cartridge, color is not right on printed material

Remove the cartridge and blot the printhead on a damp tissue. A working tri-color cartridge would have a stripe of cyan, yellow and magenta on the tissue.

If one or more of these are missing you will not get proper colors from the printer. If your printer has a "prime" function this may recover a missing color. If not you will probably need to get a replacement.

Please provide details of the printer model for further suggestions.
