Does the webcam software have a 'Dashboard' (toolbar) that launches from your desktop ?- if so, launch the toolbar and open the 'Settings' menu. Look for the 'advanced' tab and change the 'Mirror Image- vertical' - save the changes if you have that option.
If you have no toolbar you will have to do it while setting up your webcam to a chat program - along the sequence you will see a 'Camera Source' button and another 'Settings' button

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

Hi,

It may happen if the WebCam position is upside down. Was it dropped or open by any chance?

You can follow the below mentioned steps:

You can restore the computer back to factory default,to do so, follow the below steps: Turn OFF the computer, now as soon as you hit the power button, keep on holding "Alt" key
& keep on tapping "F10" key, i.e Alt+f10, it will open the recovery console, select full factory restore and follow on screen instruction.
NOTE: This will erase all the data on the computer.

Thanks and regards,
Jitha

The image is inverted

This may sound ridiculous but check and see if the camera is in the holder upside down :) It is possible, but very unlikely, that the software is inverting the image... but it is much more likely that the camera itself is upside down.

My webcam when upside down. how can i fix this problem?

Here's the best solution that can solve this "Inverted webcam" issue with ASUS K401N. Please follow the step by step instructions below :

1. download the latest Chicony (or Suyin) driver for Windows 7.
2. extract contents to desktop.
3. click the ORB button. right-click on Computer and select Properties.
4. select Device Manager.
5. click on Imaging Devices to show the name of the webcam.
6. right-click on the name of the webcam and select Properties.
7. go to the Driver tab. click on Update Driver. a new window should pop-up.
8. click 'Browse my computer for driver software'. select 'Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer'.
9. on the next window, it'll give you the current driver. click 'Have Disk'. click Browse. Browse to the desktop and select lastest driver that you've downloaded. it'll be then added to the list of drivers. select the new driver and click Next. Just follow the prompts so that it'll install the new driver.

I would highly recommend to restart your PC after the installation.

Enjoy, and Thanks for using FixYa.

UP SIDE DOWN IMAGE PROBLEM

Normal 0 Try this, while the computer is running and the picture is upside down, unplug the camera from the USB Port , wait a few seconds and then plug it back in. I have fixed several that had the same problem by doing this.
Worth a try.
Hope this helps. Bud

Upside down display

Have checked with the manufacture for updated drivers. Many camera's that use windows uni-drivers fail to work in all applications. If updated drivers are available use them rather than windows drivers.
If you need further help just email.
