Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

connect your computer straight to your internet modem.

If it works then connect the router after reset....
read the manual..if it does not work then return your router and get a new one or simply buy netgear..has been working for me Without problems for 4 years other than two years ago got fried due to electrical over charge

SOURCE: I have buffalo WHR-G54S and i cant portforward

Are you by any chance using www.portforward.com ? Because I just checked it and all of the information you gave would appear to match it. If your not the owner of this router, or say your parents or your husband/wife etc. is normally in charge of the router, ask them the username and password.

If this is not the case, I would recommend resetting the router back to factory default by pressing the small round button on your router that says "reset". Afterwards the username and password should be brought back to the default values of username: "root" password : " " .

If this did not solve your problem, please leave a comment and I will assist you further.

I have forgotten my user id & password.

On most routers this process works everytime.
First push and hold the reset button on the back of the router for 30 seconds, count slow, longer is better then not long enough.
After the reset unplug the device for 30 seconds.
Plus the router back in and perform another 30 second reset.
Now try to login to the device with it's default username / password
This is usually root with blank password for this model.

How to set up password for my bufallo air station broadband router

you can free download from here: http://www.buffalo-technology.com/en/airstation-nfiniti-high-power-gigabit-broadband-adsl2-modem-router-downloads.html

Then reset your password:

->open a web browser window and enter 192.168.11.1 in the URL field and press enter. You will get a prompt to enter a username and password to access your router settings. You should enter "root" (without quotes) as the username and leave the password field blank, then click OK. You are now taken to a page where you can configure your Buffalo wireless router.

->Click on the Admin Config button on the top right of this page. Enter a name for your AirStation and click Apply. Wait for the router to restart with the new setting, you may have to refresh your browser window.

->Next click on the Password button in the small row of choices under Admin Config. The Administrator name is fixed as "root" however, you should now choose an Administrator Password (8 characters or less) and enter it in the two fields provided, then click Apply. Wait for the router to restart, and you will be prompted to login with the username "root" and the new password you just set up. If you choose a password over 8 characters long, you will be unable to login and will have to reset your wireless router by using the pinhole on the bottom.
