Question about Kenmore Dryers
The source of the stain marks is a worn felt seal. These are the seals that separate the front and rear edges of the drum and the front panel and the rear of the cabinet. When the felt seals get worn, the edge of the drum makes metal-to-metal contact with the cabinet and clothing items can get caught between them resulting in the stains. Simply replace the felt seals to address the problem.
