Some compressors just have a hard time starting after sitting all winter long. Some compressors are locked up so bad that can not start. Many times The device you will use is the "Super-Boost.The Super-Boost could save you from having to purchase a new air conditioning compressor or system.

The Supco super boost can save stuck compressor by increasing the compressor's starting torque by 500%.

The Supco, Super-Boost is a solid state relay and hard start capacitor no loose parts or complicated wiring. Just wire it across your run capacitor.

I after using the super boost the compressor did not run, then you will have to replace the compressor with a new one.

Hi there,

Well if the fan of Air Conditioner run but only the compressor not run then first of all you can check out the followings -
1. Is the thermostat knob turned to the proper setting?
Is the compressor motor running?
The compressor is a football-sized case. It is located inside the air conditioner at the center. Is it humming or making any kind of continuous noise or causing the lights to dim? If it is making a continuous noise, and your air conditioner is still not cooling at all, there may be a serious problem with one or more of the followings -
Compressor, Relay, Thermostat, May be Burnt wiring, Bad selector switch or Capacitor......
Please post the model number of your Air Conditioner for further help or information.......

Good Luck!!

1994 nissan pickup, runs rough. wont hardly run. cant find the problem.

It could be many different things. Check the vacuum lines. Check spark plugs. Check compression in engine, check fuel lines filter and injectors or carb. It's sounds like a misfire which can be caused by incorrect fuel, spark, or compression. And sometimes they run rough because vacuum pressure is incorrect or line is leaking. Start with the basics and go from there

I just replaced the fuel jets in my 88 trooper II so why wont it start now it just turns over

1988 , that is and old car, and has EFI ,?
has carb. ????? we cant guess this and 88 is transitions year.
to get help , tell engine size and if carb or EFI, we cant guess. that.
is this the gas engine or diesel, yes, they sold both, sigh.
i guess, gasoline petrol engine.
1: gave it a tune up yet?
2: does it have spark on all cylinders?
3: Yes,1&2 does test fuel work.? runs for 3 seconds?
4: will not run on test fuel check compression , a cheap tool.
5: ok compression is good, but runs on test fuel.
6: bad fueling. fix that. (cant help with out engine type, EFI type or CARB facts.

btw, all these facts are on if you choose to look.

now the engine line up
preplexing, huh, we cant see engine, so cant help. at all.

RM 80 1986-1987 wont start

put compression gauge in spark plug hole and if its less than 100psi then you need a new oversized piston and rings ! gaskets also !!!

Fuel pump wont come on

ok, you never said how you know that>?
1: pressure zero
2: crack fitting dribble tests?
3: cant hear it ( i cant either cranking,)
some cars about 1/2 only run the jump cranking and running.
not just key on. (FSM is the only book that answers this tricky question)
some cars have ECU flash updates that change this rule.
so read the TSB on that..

why not post the symptoms so pros can answer.....?????

1: cranks ok
2: no start.
3: spark is good and compression all good, on all cylinders
if compression is low on all , the timing belt fell off, and BOOM !

4: spark good, you try test fuel.
a: runs for 3 seconds, suspect no injection.
b: dont run, at all bad that, check compression at WOT on all cyl.

suspect bad injection;
A: check pressure cranking, (no key on, but cranking)
i get 30psi, its good.
i get 5 psi or 0 , bad pump or now 12vdc to pump cranking.
B: pump at 30pis cranking
so i run a NOID lamp test on all injectors,
it fails... (ask for how to go past here...... longer story....

more complex than you though , huh?

Engines can be troublesome sometimes.. I dont think there is any reputable shop that cant quickly identify and repair this issue without too much problem. I would assume the issue lies in the carb\fuel pump area but compression reading before is mandatory to identify if the engine can run effectively first. What is the compression reading? I can steer you better once I know. Thank you, Lewis

Running very sluggish losing power up hill

test the compression on the engine with a compression tester simply screws in the place off the spark plug and then kick the engine over couple off times and when the pressure cant go any higher give me that reading e.g.125psiedb0e69.jpg
