My Photostudio 5.5 software shows a compatibility problem with my CanoScan 9950F scanner when I try to load it into my Windows 7 64bit OS. The Arcsoft software was in a bundle on my Canon Set-up CD. I have followed your instruction to download a software patch without success. The URL you gave me http://www.arcsoft.com/downloads/oem/canon/photostudio_canon_55.0.31_5.5.5.0.91update_en.exe shows a web page error. Help me please. Thank you.

You can try to download the following patch and see if it helps:

It looks like Photostudio 2000 is no longer in sale. You could buy Photostudio 6 from Arcsoft website- http://www.arcsoft.com/estore/photo_products.asp and you can use this to get 20% discount -ARC404P20 during checkout to receive 20% off.. I hope this helps. Good Luck!

Hi, I have a scanner CanoScan N 640P and MacBook with Mac OS X 10.5.3 operative system. I wonder how to connect those two equipments and where to find the right driver. So, I would need your advice.......

it is supported by only windows XP
so it is advisable to use VMWARE FUSION of BOOTCAMP to install WINDOWS XP
and then connect Scanner to that Virtual Machine.

maybe you need to download a new version of studio for win7 64bit, only my suggestion

Canoscan 9950F won't scan, says scanner locked, but it isn't

I was surprised by the same problem this morning. First time I've had a problem with in years. Checked the lock... it was already unlocked. I solved the problem by unhooking the USB cable from the hub, restarting my Mac (seems to be the key), replugging the cable and restarting the scanner. Worked like a charm. Hope it works for you!

Distorted photos with Canon Scanner & ArcSoft Photo Studio

I'm assuming that this is only occurring in ArcSoft PhotoStudio? You may need to install an application that is more up today and compatible with Vista. I don't know if that version of PhotoStudio is compatible. You should check with ArcSoft. There is a patch for the 2000 version of PhotoStudio...but again, I don't know if PhotoStudio 2000 is Vista Compatible.
