I was taking pictures when the battery died. I charged the battery, and now the camera won't turn on. Any clue on what to do?

hello,i'm afraid your battery has died for good,as not too sure how often you have been charging it up after usage?,as all lithium battery's are a bit temperamental, and do not like been overcharged,it's always a good idea to vary the time of use,as well as the recharge period,so do not always give it the same period of charge each time, also a good idea to have your charger checked by a precision instrument to measure the rate,as a malfunctioning charger, will destroy your battery! hope that helps, cheers.

Charge up the battery. Most digital cameras use a lithium battery and the battery needs to be removed from the camera and inserted into a charge adapter to be charged.

If it is new Nano Li-ion technology- try to fully charge battery, they work FULL power until they discharge, so they die instantly, NOT like Nickel batteries go slower till they die, so maybe that is only your first impression that it shorts...

Battery does not seem to hold charge on Advent 9115 laptop. 18 months old. Charged overnight. Switches off within half hour of switching on.

Sounds like your battery is dying.

Laptops should not be run on mains power all the time, it kills the battery. Should be run on battery until battery warning occurs, then plug in to recharge.

You'll need a new battery at this stage.

D80 battery dies when using larger lens

If your 70-300 lens is using VR and your 18-135 lens is not then this is correct. VR uses a lot of battery juice so you should try to keep it off if you are not using it. Also, try toset auto-focus off also if you are concerned about battery life.

Latitude d505 not charging

If the system runs using the AC adapter, but the battery doesn't hold a charge and the battery indicator LED flashes orange, then replace the battery (A battery with an internal failure may flash 4 times orange then once green and repeat)

The normal lifespan of a PC battery is 300 to 500 recharge/discharge cycles (roughly 12 to 18 months)

Jobmate 18 volt chordless drill charging

About 60 minutes...max 90 minutes. Do NOT leave it on the charger for hours and hours...that just cooks the battery.

And switch regularly between the two batteries...else the one that doesn't get used will die.
