No, provided the thermostat is set midway and the doors are not opened all the time and your outside temperature is not high , your fridge must shut down once the set temp is reached. Also the auto defros may work onthe fridge to clean up the frost on the cooling fins in abbout 8 hours. So if our fridge is not stopping then there is every possibility of fault inthe system. If the cooling is bad then check on the thermostat, the auto defrost timer and also the compressor pumping pressure and gas pressure inside. Take help if you want to have a consenses so as to reassure before any step is taken. Take an estimation of work and decide. Good day

Jam to runny fruit going to the top

Not enough sugar.
Too much liquid.
Not boiled long enough.
Not enough Pectin in the fruit, so you need to add it.

Fruit will always float to the top. Strawberry jam suffers with this a lot.

You can fix by re-boiling and adding pectin.

When i crank it it stays runni gabout thirty sec then cut off

If you start it and it runs fine for about 30 seconds, there is a fuel supply issue. Since you did not post the year make and model, that is all I can tell you.

My bottom freezer is not working properly. It semi-freezes ice-cubes but ice-cream turns runny, bread is soft (not hard frozen). What could be the problem ??

One thing you can do is clean the area around the compressor. Dust and cobwebs clog the cooling fins and affect performance. Check the fan motor down there also.

Freezer side not working properly.. It works for a while freezing and then it stops freezing. For Example: ice cream solid, then later (couple hours later), we notice ice cream is soft to runny.

Will the car stay running if the batterie is disconected

It should stay running. If your alternator is bad it may not stay running but in all cases it should stay running.

1996 chevy z24 2.4 car has a hard time starting and staying runni

When is the last time you changed the plugs and or wires. Possibly a bad coil. You can also check the fuel injectors to see if they are spraying correctly. Also check the fuel filter. It should be inline under the car just look for the lines when you crawl underneath. If none of that is the issue let me know
