Question about GE Lands Phones

1 Answer

We have lost our manual to our phone & need to reprogram our side phones off of the base phone so we can have use to all the side phones that came with our phone package. Right now the only phone we can get working is the base phone because we lost the directions to get all phones working. We have a GE 5.8 HGz cordless phone with home base & 3-4 side phones (no answering machine) Model #28021EE1-A S/N 60099293 Also located on bottom of base phone base is #5612HY Can you help us out so we do not have to purchase new phones and can use all of those as we need to? Hope so (SKS)

Email me at cayz at verizon dot net (no sense giving spam bots anything to chew on).

I have lost my user manuel and I need to reset my Base GE5.8GHz I have a GE 5.8 GHz cordless phone system

Your system must have been rebranded by GE since their page for telephone manuals doesn't have the number listed you gave:
GE Phone manuals
In case you made an error in the model number, you should be able to find your manual there.

Both phones say "line in use

You might try removing the batteries and unplugging the base unit. That will reset the system to factory settings. You will have to reprogram the system.
