Question about IBM Promax 33L4892 Webcam
Even though nothing else is running i get the message my cam is locked by another application or no cam found on this pc .what can i do
Its not unusual for webcam software to remain hooked up to a previous program even if you have exited that program correctly.
Before opening your chat program unplug the cam from the USB port for a couple of seconds to re-boot the webcam software.
If its built-in you will have to re-start the computer - use a keyboard shortcut or disable/enable the cam from the Imaging Folder in the Device Manager.
Check the camera source as well - you may have other imaging software loaded that can cause conflicts
